HS kids don't even wear knee pads anymore. My son graduated 4 years ago and he never wore them in a game.

When I played we had big ass thick knee pads they prob weighed 3 lbs when they soaked up sweat and rain. lol
Some dude blew out his knee in training camp and the HC made the AD buy the whole team knee braces. Had to wear them if you wanted to play. Back in the mid 90s those things weighed like 5 lbs each. I went from 200 lbs to 220 with all my s**t on. Couldn't run for s**t. lol

I enjoy that in college, players have more customization on uniforms. It's fun to see different looks but same team

I enjoy these posts. I don't follow college as closely as the NFL so I appreciate the perspective of someone who does follow it closely.

I think that's the best early one. Because it's an in state rivalry. But different conferences. Both typically have some good players. In fact we got Purdy and Kittle. So there is one from each from these teams.

Cyclones are honestly pretty good now. Breece Hall RB and Purdy QB. They have some players come out of there now. It's no longer a down team. It's a serious top 25 team. Probably top 15 after this win and 3 - 0.
