That was fun. Wished they had won this but gosh - Love missed so many wide open 3s in 4th and then at the end. But still enjoyed the game.

Lebron
Durant
Leonard
Davis
Giannis? Curry?

The 5th IS NOT Joel Embiid. lol I would say its between Steph Curry, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Greek Freak, or Chris Paul. I think it will be Giannis by next year. If Draymond could shoot he would be in that conversation because no other player in the league can impact games like he can without scoring in double digits.

Kawhi is a great great player...a 2 way player (though his defense is considerably down this season - which is natural because he's being asked to score 30) who is in the best stretch of his career offensively.

I just don't have him in my top 5 and it's not because I've not seen him play enough. I have him just outside my top 5...which is not disrespecting the guy, imho.

My top 5 is simple:

1. Lebron
2. Durant
3. Curry

4. Harden
5. Westbrook

I can't put Anthony Davis in my top 5...you gotta win some playoffs games. I love Giannis but too early. In a year or two, yes. I only put players in top 5 after they've proven for at least 2 years. Kawhi is right behind my top 5 but I love the ability of current generation of super-stars to score 25+ and still get 7-8 assists a game. Again...having him as no. 6 or no. 7 player in the league is not disrespecting the guy - it's just a matter of preference.

Not sure how you don't have Curry in top 5 though. He's 3rd best player in the league at worst.

I have watched every game Steph has played for the past 3 years. LOVE him. My favorite player in the league. But, I think he is probably 5th for me. Reality is he is probably the 3rd most valuable player on his own team and isnt the 2 way player that Lebron, Kawhi, Durant, and Davis are. He is the greatest shooter in the world and had perhaps the greatest season ever last year. I am ranking the players right now though and I would drop Steph a notch or two.

Lakers 122-73 loss is the largest margin of defeat in team history (49 pts); 3-of-21 from 3-point range.

That part bums me out because I think Utah set the previous record last year.
