Watch lamar throw four different types of TD passes we seem to struggle with. 1st he throws the deep ball. 2. drops one into his TE, over the shoulder in stride. 3. throws his WR open away from the LB. 4. 20 yard seam route over a safety just low enough for his WR at the back of the endzone. All before halftime against marshall.

Marshall's defense is far better than Carolina and Seattle too.

Did not expect the Buffs to beat Oregon today with a freshman qb. Amazing game with 333 passing, 135 rushing and 4 TDs. Wow.

Already reached to Art Briles and Tom Hermanns reps. Plus there's the Jimbo Fisher rumors.

I don't think any Big-12 team deserves to be ranked.

Its way too early to tell, but I think the Big 10 may have a case this year to have 2 teams in playoffs.

Updated rankings no one cares about!
1. Alabama - SEC
2. Louisville - ACC
3. Ohio State - Big 10
4. Texas A&M - SEC
5. Wisconsin - Big 10
6. Houston - American Athletic
7. Tennessee - SEC
8. Florida State - ACC
9. Michigan - Big 10
10. Clemson - ACC
11. Stanford - PAC-12
12. Nebraska - Big 10
13. Utah - PAC-12
14. Washington - PAC-12
15. Baylor - Big 12
16. Ole Miss - SEC
17. Georgia - SEC
18. Michigan State - Big 10
19. ASU - PAC-12
20. San Diego State - MWC
21. Boise State - MWC
22. North Carolina - ACC
23. West Virginia - Big 12
24. Western Michigan - Mid American
25. Arkansas - SEC

Top 10: SEC (3); ACC (3); Big 10 (3); American Athletic (1)

Top 25: SEC (6); Big 10 (5); ACC (4); Pac-12 (4); Big 12 (2); MWC (2); American Athletic (1), Mid American (1)

I still think the rankings should be super flexibile. Shouldn't really be rigid rankings until after game 6 IMO. Just look at the Notre Dame wins, at first they seemed to be big wins but now look rather pedestrian. Or Michigan's stomping of Colorado might turn out to be a huge win.

The fact that ASU is unranked, yet San Diego State and Texas are ranked is hilarious. San Diego State beat Cal by 5 ad beat 2 nobodies. ASU beat Cal by 10 and also beat Texas Tech. Yet SD State is 19 and ASU is unranked?

I said it last week Colorado looks good this year. They are going places finally.

Nice to see Western Michigan ranked. Major credit to former 49er P.J. Fleck, solid head coach to be honest.

I read your rankings SD!

Moving on up!
We might have an offense for the first time in 7 years... Between the Niners and Utes, I can't remember what an actual offense looks like, so I don't know yet. I'm not sure if we're South contenders, but so far things are looking alright, especially with most teams already having a loss.

If they are truly interested in Art Briles they are a special brand of terrible human beings

10 years from now he will be coaching a big time program, just wait.

They won on the road against 2 Big 10 teams (Northwestern and Illinois). That's pretty solid. That's two major conference wins on the road, not a lot of teams can say that right now.

Bill Cubit went 51-47 at Western Michigan, and that got him the Illinois job. Fleck should be getting some calls from some major teams this off-season, he is about to have the best 3-year success there in decades. Maybe Purdue?
