His dad could hit from downtown so I'm not worried about his shot.

yet Ibaka has a 7'3" wing span vs Sabonis 6'10" wing span

And Ibaka has a perimeter shot, Sabonis doesnt

Sabonis is good for rebounds but seems like he will be playing below the rim on offense and defense against much more athletic and long NBA players

Sabonis can shoot from the perimeter, supposedly teams were shocked at his workout in LA because of his ability to hit from all over the floor. He doesn't have the same range as Ibaka but he can knock down mid-range shots and I have no doubt that he will continue to develop that shot.

He isn't the same shot blocker as Ibaka is but as far as rebounding and scoring, I think in the long run he becomes the better player, especially if Ibaka continues his decline.

Serge Ibaka per 36 minutes

2013-2014-16.6 ppg, 9.6 rpg, 3.0 bpg, 53.6% FG

2014-2015-15.6 ppg, 8.5 rpg, 2.6 bpg, 47.6% FG

2015-2016-14.2 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 2.1 bpg, 47.9% FG

we will see how far his strength will get him in the NBA bc he doesnt have the bounce or length.

Jumper will have to make up for it on the offensive side.

There goes Brice.
I thought long and hard about that OKC/ORL deal, and I actually think it's a solid deal for both parties. Looks like OKC pulled a Harden again (trade him before we have to pay him routine) but Oladipo and Ilyasova provide good depth and Sabonis could turn into something (another rotational big between Adams and Kanter). For Orlando, as good as Oladipo is I just don't think he fit well with the rest of the roster. Now they can make it Payton – Fournier – Gordon – Ibaka – Vuc with the ability to go small ball with Gordon/Ibaka at 4/5.

Only question is what does KD think of it really...

Any guesses who we're taking at #30?

this

Payton and Oladipo as back a back court just didnt mesh. 2 guards that other teams were happy to let them have an open jumper.

Orlando also has another SG they are developing in Hezonja

I think they have killed it this far. Simmons was the obvious pick but Luwawu was a great choice. He'll be in the NBA soon enough. Korkmaz is a sniper. Mock drafts had both going as high as #13.
