I just can't believe how bad his shot has become. Its so weird to see a player of his caliber deteriorate that quickly.

Torn achilles and broken kneecap took the quickness and elevation away, and torn labrum coupled with the leg problems screwed his shot. I don't think he forgot how to shoot. His body just doesn't work right anymore.

The thing that bothers me about it is that he has proven he can be a great passer in the past so I don't know why he just doesn't change his game up a bit and try to make plays for others instead of shooting 20 shots a game.

Thats a different story. If he is hurt then of course he would get paid just like if he was in the NFL. Kobe will play out the season in order to get paid but also because I dont think he wants to go out in the middle of the year. He deserves a nice fairwell tour with all he has done for the league and the Lakers,

Lol...except the fact that Nash was actually injured. Even though they weren't major injuries, he was constantly with doctors and trainers. Kobe isn't injured and I doubt he would fake an injury just to get payed. Unless Kobe actually does get injured, he won't retire because otherwise he won't get payed.

He just played back to back and 33 minutes tonight. He isnt hurt enough to not play. Plus, I dont think Kobe would do that. I think he will play the season out and let fans around the country celebrate his career.
