Yeah only 29 but I think age and injury are starting to catch up.
Despite what they say I don't think it is the number of games they play, if anything they now play less football than they did in the 70's & 80's.
With mid week games, internationals etc 50+ games a season used to be common place. Fatty was talking about having played 4 games in 6 days on the footy show a few weeks back and Cronin played 52 games in 1978 when he set the points record of 547 for a year.

Well thats one disappointment down, lets hope fridays game goes alright

Good luck boys!!!

Changing pick from the Warriors to Dragons after 6 players got stood down... Was tempted to change the Eels pick too, but will stand firm on that.

They just aren't responding to adversity the way I'd like them to. They were pathetic against the Storm & in a game where they need all hands on deck, prominent players are stood down for protocol breaches. The team just seems to be in a bad headspace.

The Dragons will have their tails up now, thinking this is a prime opportunity to pick up a win in Auckland.

I could be wrong, but I don't like it when a team gives the opponent an advantage... Similar to the Highlanders red card from last week, give the opposition an edge & they'll take it.
Friday night football has been top quality so far... C'mon Eels
Eels pulling away

Glad I didn't change the pick.
Oh chit, big Semi just destroyed James Graham with an epic run.
Well done Eels, great win... 20/12
Thats two losses for me, i shoulda stuck with the eels, man my drainpipe gonna be blocked like s**t up scat creek.
Watching my first draft session, luv'd the movie, this one is real and Im enjoying it, even if it is a rerun, never ever ever thought I'd ever follow or watch this sport and what comes with it, still abit gobbledygook to me but Im shurrre getting into it, thanx Hayne you the best!!!

Takairangi would have to be the biggest half to ever take the field, 195cm and 108kg. I know he played a few games in the halves with the titans but he is far from your typical half.
Personally I think he makes a few to many silly mistakes but he was solid last night and I can only recall one mistake where he tried to force a pass that wasn't on close to the dogs line.
Dogs were unlucky with tries being over ruled by the bunker but they were all clearly no tries, the only one that was even close to being a 50/50 call was the last one.

108kg would have to be the heaviest half in history to the best of my knowledge
Unless they slipped in George Rose for a play or two
