Congratulations Blues! Dominant performance.
Had to watch the replay late tonight. Lucky, I've got Friday off.
I don't get channel 9 in HD, only SD. So, had to record the 10pm replay yesterday on Fox. (I just can't watch sport in SD anymore)
I must admit the game isn't quite as exciting on replay, when you already know the result. I saw a much slower game than the commentators did, & I didn't see the best half of Origin football that Fatty witnessed.
The game felt fairly even in the first half, but got away from the Maroons in the second.
Fifita in the forwards & Tedesco in the backs, were the standouts in a very strong overall team performance. Slight edge to Fifita as my MOM.
Peats had an outstanding debut.
Hayne has definitely lost a couple of steps, he no longer possesses the explosiveness / speed of athletes like Tedesco, but his RL skills are sublime & he had some nice touches. Hopefully he finds some consistency & performs like this for the Titans, they deserve their money's worth.
NSW has put together an outstanding team, & I believe James Roberts would have excelled if selected. Nobody however has done anything to lose their spot if 100% fit for Origin 2.
I'm not fully prepared to admit the tide has shifted towards NSW for the foreseeable future, but they certainly have the advantage, at least in this series.

.... Great to see you back, Goatie.
Metres are a bit easier to come by in both rugby codes, mate. (If you play in the right positions)
The Plane/Train finished up with 136m (148y).
Big Fifita pipped 'em with 168m (183y) ... Lynch needs to sign this man ASAP.
And a couple more...
Tedesco - 201m (219y)
Gagai - 218m (238y) (P.S... Gagai had a whale of a game for QLD)
