Perenara needs more time IMO. I don't think he's consistant enough, yet. But he always has an impact. His passing needs to be crisper.
cheers to that AU.

He didn't get the call up, Neo. (I posted the team a few posts above )

Dane Haylett-Petty gets first crack, I think Izzy is at FullBack though.

Rugby, like NFL, doesn't have concussion issue figured out

Rugby has emphasized tackling techniques that keep players' heads safe, but concussions remain an issue in the sport.

I had a quick search for International Rugby videos & came across these.

Game Rating: 7/10

Typical rusty display from the first All Black side of the season. Credit to Wales they turned up ready to play & really took it to the Kiwis. Unfortunately for the Welsh the just didn't have the strength on the bench to stay with New Zealand, even though they led at half time.

Game Rating: 9/10

A little sloppy & ill-disciplined at times, but the brutal physicality & all around intensity made up for it. I personally love the Australia v England rugby rivalry. It is often a clash of opposing strengths, the silky skilled & hi-tempo Australian backs against the immense power of the relentless English forwards.

With Jones and Ella at the helm, i just knew Cheika was out of his league or should i say union. He (jones) has that golden touch that was missing with Deans but dont get me wrong it still comes down to the players themselves, but the England structure now is a wallaby 'era' structure and in time it will be like the wallabies are playing against themselves, look out for the new english outfit in the near future, green gold and white.

3-Part Rating

South Africa: 3/10
Is this The decline of the once mighty superpower? The Springboks put on a woeful display of rugby, no structure or direction & terrible handling. For 60 minutes the South Africans were outclassed by a 14-man Irish side & for 10 minutes of that period Ireland were down to 13 men. South Africa could still not capitalise & to be honest, never looked like winning. If this is the best they've got? There are some dark days ahead.

Ireland: 10/10
It's hard not to appreciate the way Ireland play rugby, pure heart & always 100% effort for 80 minutes. Ireland took the game to South Africa & never went into their shells when they were reduced to 14 players & even down to 13 at one point of the match. Bold in attack & ferocious in defence Ireland were deservingly the victors. A wonderful all around team effort.

Game Rating: 5/10
This game lacked the quality of the earlier Northern Hemisphere v Southern Hemisphere contests held in New Zealand & Australia. Sloppy play & some nasty incidents didn't do the game any favours. The match did however have a very exciting finish.
