Man City getting slaughtered right now by Liverpool

This was an absolutely shocking result. I felt...ManCity was favorite to win it all. I'm not sure they can turn this around. You can give teams like Barca, Bayern, and Real to have a shot at turning this around...but a team with so little experience in Champions League - I don't see it.

Then again, Liverpool has 0 experience as well...so should be an interesting 2nd leg. But, 3-0 is a huge lead. Liverpool must not play defensive. Got to score 1 goal.

Personally I've felt Barca were the favorite, but I get your point

Barcelona is the favorite for sure, but I don't think anyone saw City getting slaughtered to the tune of 3-0, and not generating much of any offense. Sane looked dangerous until he got in the box, their passes we're off, and not starting Sterling out wide killed their width. KDB shouldn't have been out wide, they need him inside for sure to get the ball moving in dangerous directions. They did beat Liverpool 5-0 earlier in the year, so anything is possible, should be an interesting match next Tuesday, but man what a brutal 1st leg lol

Yeah I didn't see 3-0 coming. MC can come back from it, but it will be very difficult.

So as it stands today, Liverpool/Real/Barca/Bayern would be the semis.

Bayern are so hot/cold lately, not sure if they would advance. If they play like they did against Dortmund, absolutely. If they play like they did first leg of Sevilla, nope.

Bayern with 2 away goals are pretty much guaranteed to go thru IMO.

I don't know Real can be so dominant in Champions League and average (by their standards) in the league.

There is no way Liverpool could pass through Barca, Bayern or Real. NO WAY

Barca is big trouble right now. Liverpool goes through.

Roma has completely dominated Barca so far.

I don't follow soccer as much as I should but DAMN what a shot!

This is not surprising at all. He's as talented as any true striker in the history of the game. Unfortunately, he's a bit of a head-case which leads to too many inconsistent performances and that's why he isn't on the top 5 list of the greatest strikers.

This is what Ibra does - goes to a new team...starts with electrifying performances and then eventually inconsistencies catch up and he is shipped out or let go. Not because he is not good...but his inconsistency isn't worth the head-ache he brings. But, I hope in MLS - he can be consistent because he doesn't have to be at his best to score on a regular basis.

Love watching Ibra when he's fully engaged and playing for the team. When he is in that mood - he's as much fun to watch as Ronaldo and Messi.
Hate watching Ibra when he DGAF about his team and plays disconnected.

two insane ass shots in a weeks' span.

WTFBBQ!?!

I've been gone all day, just got online and saw Barca LOST

Hopefully Bayern take this as a warning and don't make the same mistake. Damn, that's crazy.
CR7 Has to feel pretty good right now lol, Man City got EFFED hard with that horrible called back goal. All the momentum, would have gone in to half with like 75% possession and only needing one more goal for the draw, and boom the dream ends lol Barcelona just fell apart, what a day.
