i would be pretty surprised if Kuiper isnt suspended for the rest of the year as a minimum and likely fired. Hard to believe that actually came out of his mouth

He may have just not emphasized the "Neee" part enough and said "Nigro". Its hard to tell. We've reached the point where flubbing a word is now an unforgivable act of aggressive racism, and the person must be fired and banished for life.

I am not saying he should be fired. I agree that he has been a good guy and an excellent employee of the A's and probably should just get a 2 week suspension or something like that. But, I wouldnt be shocked at all if he is let go.

But 99... he didnt say "Nigro". He said the N word clear as day. That is going to be hard to overcome

maybe he just wanted a way out of having to do A's games, or a way to get ppl to tune in

getting in trouble for saying a bad word is kids stuff, childish imo, sounds like he honestly enjoyed the museum to me

Given the current climate it's not surprising he got fired. It's pretty easy to pronounce the word as it should be pronounced and not as he did it.
