LOL. Aldo, Edgar and Mendes, Lamas is the not on the level of Edgar or Mendes IMHO.
And Royce and Page have no business on this list IMO. Prime Royce in todays UFC would not be nearly as good as he was in the early days when nobody had a clue how to defend his BJJ. Royce is incredibly significant to ushering in MMA on a bigger stage but not one of the GOATS. Page was a very good LHW but again even Prime Rampage is not beating Jon Jones. Also should greatest MMA fighter not UFC fighter thus to include the option of Fedor Emelianenko who is in the discussion of GOATS when it comes to MMA as well as Big Nog (especially his PRIDE career) and Wanderlei Silva (again for what he accomplished in PRIDE).
I like you man, but you're crazy.
Royce Gracie is the reason every single fighter in the UFC learns BJJ. You can fight without learning wrestling, but you sure as s**t ain't stepping into the UFC without learning BJJ. Go ask Brock Lesnar after his first fight.
Gracie won three times
when there were no rules, against guys twice his size. Hell, that was back when it was a tournament, and you had to fight multiple times, with no time limits... s**t, he had a 90 minute fight against the "Gracie Killer."
So what if "nobody had a clue how to defend his BJJ?" If I kicked your ass using some crazy dripping wet dog style Kung Fu you had never seen before, you going to make up an excuse for it because you'd never fought against it before? There were no rules... they could have done basically anything they wanted. They got their asses kicked.
