Guaranteed if we sign him (obviously it will be a ridiculously high amount of $) everyone will be b***hing about giving so much $ to a pitcher...then he will most likely underperform, like they all do

We might not have a choice. Our rotation is going to be ugly next year without a couple solid free agents. Price and Leake would be expensive, but we have the money. Then our rotation goes from crap to serious contender.

I agree with you. Just saying that's probably what will happen if we do sign him. Its unfortunate that nowadays these players make such a crazy amount of $. It seems like it will just keep going up and up, which isn't fair to other teams that don't have huge payrolls. But, I'm sure one of the usual a**hole franchises (dodgers, yankees, or red sox) will sign him anyways
