Floyd has significantly better jab
Conor has better uppercuts (though Floyds are great)
Both have a tremendous straight, Floyd's is more technically sound and faster, but Conor's is much more powerful, both are very accurate, id say that's a tie, but due to the power advantage might give that punch to Conor.
Floyd has much better head movement, much better body shots. I actually think it is more likely that Floyd finishes this fight with a body shot than a shot to the chin due to Conor's wide stance, it will expose his body.
My prediction is Floyd gets a TKO in rd 9, but I don't think he will knock Conor down. Ref will stop fight while Conor is standing. Originally was leaning towards a decision. But I think Conor takes 2 of the first 6 rounds. Then its all Floyd. But I do think Conor has a chance to pull off the upset due to Floyds age and possible rust from lay off, and maybe Floyd will fight more aggressive then usual due to lack of respect which could get him caught. But what makes Floyd great is he sleeps on no one. Respects all opponents. He knows Conor is capable of hurting him if he isint careful.
Both of them are counter fighters, most boxing fans don't realize that about Conor. He strives off his counters he has tremendous timing, accuracy and IQ. But Floyd is much more patient and will force Conor to be the aggressor, resulting in Conor being out his element and getting out classed. Would've much preferred seeing Conor fight Manny. Much better stylistic matchup.
If Conor and Floyd were to fight in a octagon using only hands wearing MMA gloves. Conor would KO him within 2 rds
You try to project that you are some kind of expert on boxing and MMA yet you seem to leave out one very important fact. Floyd Mayweather is one of the best defensive fighters in the history of boxing, including being an expert at slipping punches and limiting their effectiveness. McGregor will constantly be left off balance and vulnerable. Funny how anyone who disagrees with you is a hater and has no right to their opinion because they would so called be afraid to step in the ring. I have stepped in the ring only as an amateur heavyweight boxer many decades ago in a land far, far away. I can honestly say it really doesn't give you much more insight into predicting a boxing match than a well schooled fan. About all I can take from my experience is the effectiveness of a straight shot to the nose, and how frustrating it is to fight someone who has top notch defensive skills and is faster than you are, two things McGregor is going to be served a lot of. McGregor is going to quickly feel frustrated and overwhelmed. In this case there will also be no hope the quicker guy with the expert defensive skills tires and becomes easier to hit, he won't.
I've stated repeatedly Floyd is the greatest defensive boxer of all time, what's your point? If you have fought than you should know that anything is possible. That all I'm arguing. this is a legit boxing match just like the rest of Floyds fights. But just like the rest he will probably make it look easy, but that's not because Conor is bad, it's because Floyd's great. It isint the ppl that disagree with me im labeling haters, everyone here agrees that we think Floyd will win, It is the ppl that act like he has no chance and doesn't have any boxing skills just because he's an MMA fighter that annoy me. Boxing fans have always been haters of MMA. That's no secret. This is personal for them
