An MMA fighter just died from brain damage getting a beating from a boxer.

To be fair, this video shows better footage of Conor. The one that Van Heerdan released shows only the parts he dominated Conor. This one shows some of Conor's success in the sparring session.
Obviously, Floyd should win this. I have him winning by unanimous decision. If he finishes Conor it will probably be a TKO in the later rounds once he gasses. But I do believe Conor will win a round or two. And I give him a chance to KO Floyd but it's a slim possibility and will have to be within the first 4 rounds. Floyd is smart so I don't think he will let Conor get in his head, but if he does, and causes Floyd to fight aggressively it could leave a margin for error.
Conor's strengths are Floyds weaknesses. Southpaw with a killer left hand and unpredictable angles. He has significant size and power on Floyd, which along with the age difference, makes things interesting. I'm curious to see how Conor approaches this fight. It will be fun to see how he utilizes MMA angles in a boxing match. Conor has to fight very loose and free to have any chance at winning this. He must avoid basic boxing fundamentals and approach this like an MMA match. If he tries to fundamentally and technichally outbox Floyd he will be outclassed. He has to try to bring his game into Floyds house, must avoid playing Floyds game or he will get dominated.
Conor has no chance. A hard hitting MMA fighter isn't the same as a puncher in boxing. Also, Boxers are professionally built to take a punch and hit hard. Most boxers can take just about any punch a non-boxer can give if the weight match is the same.
No chance. Think about it this way, who would win if Conor goes toe-to-to flurries with Manny Pacquiao? One would think Manny lands with more precision and power and would knock Conor out. Manny couldn't touch Floyd.

My prediction:
Conor gets DQ'd. The excuse is that he's new and isn't privy to all the rules and just lost a little control and let his MMA out.
Says he needs more time to know all the rules and be in boxing mode. Rematch and everyone buys...again.

There's language in the contracts that forbids knees elbows kicks etc. He would lose money. Don't see it.

Mayweather and McGregor already have the fight all planned out. Its basically a WWF wresting match. As long as McGregor doesn't try to climb the rafters, he should be fine.

A swift roundhouse kick to the face would do wonders against Floyds' Philly shell phaggotry.Originally posted by TheHYDE49er:Originally posted by crabman82:Originally posted by Joecool:My prediction:

Weird how a MMA guy is going to fight arguably the boxer that has held and hugged the most in history.
Fyi in a boxing match ,after three holds and hugs you're supposed to get a warning, then point deduction etc.
Floyd paid off some refs imo ijs
