Which Is Your Favorite Giants World Series Run?

They're all special I know, and this is like asking to choose a favorite child, but...

2010 was awesome... full of kooky ass dudes - unbelievable desire to win after such a long drought... but I think it's this year for me. Wild card run.. historic pitching by MadBum; and, most importantly - my first experience while actually living in San Francisco. It's a little more endearing for me. So much fun last night.

THEY WERE ALL GREAT THOUGH! DYNASTY!!!!!
2010 just because it was the first and I was beginning to think I would never see one. Team was full of personalities and we weren't expected to win it.

This years was more impressive because we had to overcome so many injuries and a depleted starting pitcher staff. Arguably the worst bench in baseball as well. MadBum 's performance though was one of the most impressive sports performances Ive seen, and the greatest postseason pitching performance I have ever seen.

My favorite part of all these teams is the quirky personalities; Huff, pat the bat, romo, Wilson, timmy, pence, Pablo, and many more.
2012 because Dusty Baker decided to correct his 2002 mishap
2010 is still the sweetest for me.
2010 came out of nowhere for me as the 2002 meltdown was still somewhat fresh in my mind. But this one...this one was damn special. Had you told me Cain/Pagan were out, Lincecum would be relegated to nothingness in the pen, I would've scoffed at the thought of even playoffs. But this 2014 bunch sprung back up with the quickness when getting kicked in the nuts. Losing 7-2 in game 2, dropping the first home game 3 and then raging back after a 10-0 game 6 loss to play a clinching game that was hands down the most agonizing clinching game...it was a true roller coaster ride. This WS was pretty much a microcosm of the season as a whole and to see them out on top...f**king amazing.

Oh yeah, MadBum ain't bad too.
They were all awesome but 2010 is easily the most special. All those years of disapointment and decades of Giants failures. Those were all wiped clean by that amazing run in 2010 which gave us a title that I honestly didnt think would ever happen.
2010 is special....but 2014 had me going crazy.

Winning so much in the beginning like we couldnt do anything to lose a game
Then the Injuries and the most crazy slump that lost a 10 game lead of first place in the fastest time (might be a record)
Hearing all the crap saying our farm system sucks and we didnt have no one, which seemed true since we couldn't fill any holes
Then Panik shows up, started off slow then caught fire
Started winning again, creeping at LA's heels so much that we had a chance to take first place
Then boom LA puts us in our place a losing streak happens, which i wrote the Gz off and couldn't bare to watch anymore
Then we had another little win streak which helped us barely get the WC with some help

Then the baseball shined on us

i like 2014

2010 and it's not even close for me. After we won that - I had tears in my eyes...my dad too. I couldn't sleep all night. I can still taste the feeling...and my attitude at the time was - I don't care if don't win another WS Title...this moment will always live on.

2012 was great...but 2014 is more special than 2012 because it was a complete shock. I didn't think we had much of a shot at it after losing Cain and then Pagan - and Morse was out too at the beginning.
I don't know. 2012 brings back some incredible memories, even though some of those were listened to on radio while at work. To come back in those series against the Reds and Cardinals in the way we did and then sweep the Tigers. Man, that's Hollywood script type stuff.
2012 for sure.

The whole season was awesome. Cain perfect game that year too.

The Posey grand slam in Cincy, the comeback down 0-2 to the Reds. The comeback down 1-3 against STL. The Sandoval 3 HR game and sweeping the Tigers.

2014 a close 2nd. Bum shutout in PIT. The 18 inning Nats game. The Ishikawa walkoff HR to win the pennant. Then Bum single handedly beating the Royals.

2010 was great because it broke the drought, but it just doesnt measure up as a postseason compared to the other 2. In 2010 Brooks Conrad gifted us a win in the NLDS, and both the NLCS and WS that year felt like we had things under control. Plus it involved a lot of older guys who were ending their careers on a high note.

People will look back at 2010 and think its weird that Belt, Crawford, Pence, Panik, Sandoval (left off roster), Pagan, etc werent apart of it yet.

2010 kind of resembles the 1981 49ers title. A team of guys who came from out of nowhere to win, and while they had some core guys, the group of players you remember from that era werent all around yet.

Not a Giants fan but you'd think 2010 would be the most special. 1st one in 50+ years, Buster Posey turning into a super star, a high Tim Lindecum, and so much randomness that it was completely shocking the entire time. And of course it kicked off a dynasty .

14 because I feel like it officially excerised 02 demons. Obviously 10 was our first so that was amazing and that's a close second, but the fact that we were a wc team, we won nlcs game 5 against the cards in a walkoff, and the 7 game series against another wc team and actually won. It basically made up for 02 in my eyes. Besides that, this team went through so much. Injuries to what seemed like everyone. Buster was slumping in the first half and then went crazy in the second half. Not to mention we were chasing the Dodgers and Kershaw's historic season all year. Kershaw's implosion and Bum's coronation. Game 7 on the road. Just awesome all awesome.
2010 followed by a tie between 2012 and 2014. Given that I was too young to remember the bulk of the dynasty years for the 49ers, I'm just trying to absorb and enjoy as much of this run by the Giants as possible.
