So Boris Diaw is vacationing in the Pyrenees as training camp starts (excused), and Popovich made some cracks during media day that he was gonna come back fat, at least at 275. Word got back to Diaw and he responded on Instagram with "only 1 glass a day and daily workouts" and this tremendous pic. It's like U Mad Bro and The Most Interesting Man in the World had a baby.

Regarding the new NBA deal, the owners are proposing an interesting way of implementing it. Rather than the salary cap going up drastically in 2016, they're proposing that it is just raised a bit to something around the $70 - $75M range. This will result in a shortfall where the players are owed significantly more than that at the end of the year.

The net result of this is that the owners would cut a check that would be evenly distributed amongst all of the players, rather than having just the 2016 FAs as the primary beneficiaries. This hasn't been approved by the players, but I think it would be agreed upon pretty easily.
