I know this may qualify as a captain obvious statement, but if the Cubs bats dont start showing some life, they are going to be spectators for the World Series.

But seriously, I dont know where their dominance against lefties went. Bumgarner (other than Arrieta's HR), Moore, Kershaw, and Hill all dominated them.

If I was Epstein I would eat a big part of Heyward's deal and move him. The best solution for this team is to move Zobrist to right and have Schwarber in LF. They also have Soler that could be a strong 4th OF. He needs to just admit his huge mistake and peddle him off to a team desperate for OFs even if he gets nothing back.

It is truly painful to watch him "hit."

Based on the market of what players are getting paid, I feel like Heyward is worth about $6-7M a year. I am SOOOO glad the Giants were never really in on him last offseason.

Come on Cubs, I'm not even a fan but I feel the frustration of 108 years. I'm sure Cub fans know this is their year, but if it isn't they have enough experience of waiting till next year.

Yeah his defense is phenomenal but man, he seems like an automatic out every time he steps in the box. Same with Rizzo and Russell though except Jason has been that way all year. Very frustrating right now

Cubs just toying with LA so they can advance in front of their home fans. Same with Cleveland. Cause no one wants to see an LA vs Canada WS.
