Is it a coincidence that teams like the Royals and Indians get to the top of the American League? They play winning baseball. Francona is a HOF manager.

It just shows how important it is to have a great bullpen. That is the one thing they had in common.

Yes, love TF. However, I would argue that Ned Yost is a below average manager. In fact, prior to his World Series run, there were people who believed he was one of the worst in baseball. I am included in that group.

Winning the WS has bought Ned another couple years of managing at this level.
