Well I don't know about that then. Seems kinda stupid to go for a six-out save when you have a 2-run lead. Why not just have him come in for a regular ninth-inning save?
It made all the sense to bring him in there. They needed the strikeout and he gave them 2. The last thing you would want is for the game to get tied on 2 outs. He just didnt get Gonzo but it was the right call.

I seriously do not understand not having Russel bunt Zobrist over to 3rd with no outs. Made zero sense to let him hit there.

As Smoltz pointed out Blanton got away with a hanger on 0-1. You would think he might have wasted a fastball up or put a pitch off the plate and not thrown the exact same pitch. LMAO

So far this off season he is coming up huge. He is the best pitcher of this generation so it makes sense that he wouldnt continue his post season woes.
