Just recently. Since they were such a super team, favored against everybody, and had the 3-1 lead.

Different sports, why would I, as a Warrior fan, care about a baseball team losing a 3-1 lead?
Losing a 3-1 lead has happened a bunch of times in baseball.

I'm not saying what I said applies to everyone. I'm saying you can tell why some of those rooting for the Cubs are doing so.

Gotcha, I am a longtime Giants fan who knows what it is like to root for a team with a long WS drought.

Warriors, a 73-9 team - is the first team to blow a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals. They were talking about their place in history before winning it. Their players were talking smack all season and even more so in the NBA finals.

They poked the bear and got eaten alive.

It'll be a thing this entire regular season. Their fans just have to deal with it.

Warriors blew a 3-1 lead.
The Refs won those last 3 games

I hear ya. I'm a fan of a sports team in the same (NHL/Blues), so I definitely feel ya.

For MLB, I'm a Cardinals fan, and of course I'm gonna root against the Cubs (rivals), but if they win, good for them. Sure has been a long ass time. Lol

I have been obnoxious. Lot of it have to do with couple posters (one actually sent me nasty msgs - didn't know ppl actually do that lol) but I've respect for many of you guys - so I shall stop.

Anyway, it's a great rivalry. Hoping for a rubber match.

From St. Louis. Cardinals and Blues have always been here. Grew up watching.

NFL/49ers: No NFL team. My dad is a Packers fan (his dad was as well). Grew up watching all the Brett Favre vs. Steve Young battles w/ my dad. I really enjoyed watching Young and Rice. Mainly Rice. Started watching their games and been a fan since.

NBA/Magic: No NBA team. Really enjoyed watching Shaq and Tracy McGrady. Stuck with em since.
