Karlsson is a top 5 player in the league. He is instantly the best player on Sharks

I don't think you understand how good Karlsson is

On one leg he lead Ottawa to Conference Finals and almost knocked off Penguins
I heard this guy is very good.
WOW!!! Sharks gave up just about everything they had. We lost several good players and two top picks but upon further thought, we always find late round gems and we've got some other good players still in the system. We truly upgraded the defense and this might be what we need to get a Cup. Overall, it seems we gave up a lot.. But that's because I think we gave up what he was worth.

I just have one question why?You already have a quarterback power play guy and to give up the world for him hope you dont cry when they exit in the second round and hes in the garden next year.Hope he said he would resign because if not that is nuts to give up that aresenal.

Tierney is a 3C and Demelo a third pairing Dman. I don't know who the prospects they gave up are. Also conditional 1st if Sharks go to Finals in 2019, 2nd rounder if he's re-signed. The only problem is how do they fit Burns, Kane, Pavs, Couture, Hertl, Vlasic, Karlsson under the salary cap. Both he and Pavs need an extension and removing Thornton's salary is not enough to fit Karlsson.

Karlsson will probably want 8-9 million per season. Some of it will come from Jumbo joe signing for the vet minimum but I bet we are hoping we can get a discount from Pavs. I think it is possible to fit them both under the cap next year.

I hope you're right. Meier and Donskoi will also require a raise. It's going to take some unselfishness from Pavs and Karlsson to make it work. I hope Karlsson likes the lockerroom and small market environment of San Jose. It's gonna get tight (the cap).

From my understanding, a lot of people don't think the senators got fair value. I think, in general, you're going to find a lot of people think they could have gotten way more.
