Gutted over this Oregon game.

Hope we're a different team this time around.
I'm in Indy for the B1G Championship Game! I really have no idea what to expect tomorrow from my buckeyes.

I hate Ohio St. but they have to be in after humiliating Wisconsin. I think TCU would beat Florida St. handily, and that Florida St. would have at least 2 losses if they'd faced TCU's schedule, but the committee won't have the guts to leave out Florida St.

If they allowed 8 teams there would be no controversy this year aside from seeding.

1) Alabama
2) Oregon
3) Ohio St.
4) TCU
5) Florida St.
6) Baylor
7) Mississippi St.
8) Michigan St.

If a team wants to be judged on head-to-head they should schedule the game on a neutral field. TCU lost at Baylor by only 3 points and home-field advantage in college football is worth more than that.

The committee won't have the "guts" to leave out a team that's won close to 30 straight games and is the reigning national champion? And in one breath you wanna crap on FSU (I'm assuming for winning, but barely), but want to give TCU credit for losing (but barely)? I just don't get this whole "quality loss" argument. I mean, I get it, but I just think it's irrelevant. A loss is a damned loss.

At least they dropped FSU in the polls. You're trying to advocate boosting TCU over Baylor because TCU lost @ Baylor. Meanwhile you want FSU out because they're winning. This is madness. A win means you scored more points. A loss means you scored less. It's not that complicated. Why did CFB have to become a beauty pageant? (edit: rhetorical)

If the committee's rankings were for the seasons 2013 through 2014, then yes, Florida St. should be #1, but they are ranking only according to the 2014 season. This year's Florida St. team is not the same as last year. It has markedly declined, and that's so obvious it shouldn't even need to be said. The point of the committee is to emphasize the Eye Test, and my eye test tells me FSU is not one of the 4 best teams in the country. The oddsmakers in Vegas who do this brilliantly for a living agree with me. Of course we could be wrong, this is all just a matter of opinion, but I would not put FSU in over teams I think are better just because they benefited from a much weaker schedule and won the championship the previous year.

As for TCU, no I did not give them credit for losing or say they should get in over Baylor because they lost at Baylor. I simply don't think Baylor should be ranked above them based on a 3-point victory on their home field. Baylor played a weaker schedule, has a far worse loss and the eye test tells me TCU is better and would've beaten them on a neutral field.

1. Bama
2. Oregon
3. Florida State
4. Ohio State
These are my guesses and if this does happen I hope the Big 12 finally decides to have a championship game so this TCU/Baylor debacle doesn't happen again.
