I've got a friend from Pennsylvania moved up to and living out in the Bay Area whom is nothing but Lebron fan...was a fan when he was in Cleveland and is one now while LBJ is in Miami. I get nothing but text from this cat regarding how GREAT LBJ and how he's the GOAT and better than MJ based on statistics. you know the nonsense regarding how LBJ had no father figure and made it big...how MJ had better supporting cast. just a ubber LBJ d!ck gobbler. so I had to ask this chump if he was a 76ers fan growing up in Pittsburgh area. No I didn't start watching basketball up until LBJ's junior year in high school. My next question was if he was a Miami Heat fan prior to LBJ getting there. No not a Miami Heat fan just a LBJ fan that's all. wherever LBJ decides to go I'll root for him. oh and how LBJ won the last two championships for Miami. guess LBJ was playing 5 on 1 out on the court.
PATHETIC if you ask me. this coming from a GUY who played a TEAM sport in baseball and was Mr. Pittsburgh for high school baseball. But guess what? I've yet to hear a peep from this numbnut regarding the dismantling the SA Spurs did of his beloved LBJ.
finally this cat JPG sounds everything like some cat over in ProBasketballTalk in the comment section by the name of Anti(something) and another person(who's name eludes my mind at the moment.
..fcuk my life) on some sports site I frequently visit.

Probably a lot heartbroken 7-13 year-olds sporting LBJ shoes. Lol!

I think the one way to give SA trouble is to not chase the ball. Once you start doing that, then your defense is out of position. It is probably not the best option but anyone one of you more knowledgeable basketball buffs know an effective defense to beat SA?

That's the largest point differential in Finals history, surpassing the Boston Celtics' plus-63 in the 1965 Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Heat won Game 2 by two points, while the Spurs won Games 1, 3, 4 and 5 by an average of 18.0.
The was a complete destruction of the two-time defending champions. The Spurs' offense was an efficient machine, scoring 118.5 points per 100 possessions over the five games. They assisted on 66 percent of their field goals and averaged just 11.5 turnovers after committing twice that many (23) in Game 1. They got contributions from everyone in their rotation.
And if you got caught up in the precision ball movement and ridiculous perimeter shooting, you might not have noticed how good their defense was. You don't beat a team by 70 points over five games with great play on just one end of the floor.
The Heat had the best offense through the first three rounds, scoring 113.7 points per 100 possessions in 15 games, including 114.3 in the conference finals against the No. 1 defense of the regular season. But in The Finals, they scored just 101.3. LeBron James averaged 28.2 points per game in the series, but only 4.0 assists. He didn't get much help.
It was really on the Heat's end of the floor where Game 5 changed. Miami had scored 29 points on its first 23 possessions, leading by 16 points midway through the first quarter. But they were then held to just 11 points over their next 26 possessions, as the Spurs took over the game and eventually built a 22-point lead.

Spurs on the other hand seemed to make all their drives count, and they definitely shot better from range.

Spurs are a scary team. 8 strong rotation. They'll probably repeat if the desire is still there.

Yeah and if it wasn't James driving in, then it was Wade doing the same hoping to relive the DAL refs in the pocket Finals.
Personally, I think they would have given SA more issues if they ran the offense through Bosh. He seemed to be the only one not named James to be able to get anything going on offense.

You described 60-70% of Heat fans. My whole FB feed is "Miami fans' , but they're not really fans of the Heat. They're LeBron fans who can't stick with a team. The rest are just Miami folk that just want something to talk s**t about and say they're better at. All this #heatnation bs on my feed disappeared after game 3. They're some of the bandwagonest group of fans to ever exist rivaling the mighty Seahawks.
That said, hopefully "team" ball will become a new wave in basketball. George Karl tried so long to do it but couldn't get the players Pop got. We'll see if Miami is about "team" when these contracts get discussed..
