lol @ you keep mentioning bandwagon Lebron fan. You repeating it a few times won't make it true.

Lebron should be criticized for things he does wrong...not made up s**t that insecure fans of other players spew out.

I remember Dallas coming back from a 15 point deficit w/7 minutes left against Miami on the road a couple of years ago.

Of course the comeback is unlikely, but at least you try.

Stop playing like it's nothing. Kobe sits the start of every single 4th quarter. It's a part of his natural substitution pattern. And the Lakers were already down 29 points to start the 4th and he still came back in and played until there was 2 minutes left and they were down 38 (yes, that pained me to say lol). If you are gonna be a bandwagon Lebron guy, own it dude. I'm a Kobe guy. I don't ignore/deny the fact that he's an ego maniac douchebag most of the time. It's what he is. All the Lebron hate is not just made up s**t. He's the monster he created. His fire burns a little differently than some of the superstars before him. There's nothing wrong with that, but don't pretend like he doesn't deserve a single bit of any of the criticism he gets.

I was under the impression that you were a lebron fan and started rooting for the heat when he went there. My bad if that's not the case. I never remembered you repping them before that.

And either way, lebron earns the vast majority of the criticism he gets. Stop acting like all of it has no merit at all. All superstars have their things. Some of it gets blown out of proportion, but most of it is earned. And stop trying to throw Kobe out there as an example. They're different players that specialize in different things, but there's one thing that's for damn sure. Lebron does NOT have the fire that Kobe has. That's something that you don't learn. It's in you. You have it or you don't. And Lebron simply doesn't have that insane level of fire that burns. He's amazing, the best player in the world right now, blah blah blah. But he doesn't have that ultimate fire that some do.
THE SPURS ARE THE NBA CHAMPIONS! OMG!!! F*CK YES!!!!!

Congrats to all my fellow Spurs fans!

And 4ML, you're a classy dude. LeBron will be back.

I thought the Heat showed a lot of class in congratulating the Spurs after what had to be a heartbreaking finish. Nice to see some sportsmanship.

I used to have discussions with Pete and James all the time when Lebron was in Cleveland. If they remember - they can back me up. I believe the last 3 years in Cleveland - I've had those discussions with them.

I didn't bring Kobe into this discussion. Someone brought Kobe into this discussion and I merely pointed out that Kobe sat out a few minutes in the 4th against Boston in the NBA finals elimination game. Also, Kobe checkout out with about 5 minutes left against the Suns in game 7 of NBA playoffs when they came back from 3-1 down in a series to win it.

All I'm saying is - Lebron has lost 2 series in 4 years and I understand many were waiting for this moment to come out and criticize him. I didn't always defend him when they lost to Dallas. He deserved a lot of that criticism - though again some of it was totally ridiculous. I did defend him when he lost in Cleveland. I don't think ppl should question his fire or determination in 2014 after what he achieved last two years.

So long as Duncan and Pop return, Spurs should be favorites to win it all next year, though there's the wild card of how many all-stars and future hall-of-famers LeBron gets to help him.

Spurs put on a clinic on how to play team ball. The passing was crisp, the movement was non-stop, and they had the confidence in each other to shoot without fear when the defense broke down. That was a machine.

Oh, and their defense was pretty good too.

Spurs won it fair and square...and you've to respect that even if you're a fan of an opposing team. I'll be honest - there were times in the series when all I could do was shake my head and say - "they're too good...how do you even beat them"

...and Spurs fans were classy last year in a heart-breaking loss. I can't be a fukin' jerk in a blowout lol. Better team won and one has to appreciate that.

Wow I think Pop may be done. His whole demeanor post game, carrying the hat instead of wearing it, the look in his eyes, Seriously contemplative, Not celebratory. I wouldn't be at all suprised to see him step down knowing he can leave the team in great shape for the future with Kawhi..

The game was still within reach and any guy that had an insatiable drive to win would have demanded to be in the game for a final run. It's pretty clear to anyone who isn't a Lebron homer, that he quit when there was still a chance.

My only possible defense for him is if he knew he was so drained he couldn't help his team. I could understand that (for the same reason I criticize RGIII for insisting on playing with a bum leg when he was clearly a severe detriment to his team), though it's still very disappointing to see from the best player on the planet.
