So who do you guys think will be gone for good from Indiana? I'm gonna say Vogel, Lance, and Hibbert won't be back next year.

Pacers need to add some vets who will bring maturity to the roster. Paul George has all the tools to be a top 5-7 player in the league - and eventually a top 3 player. He needs to focus more on basketball and become a true leader of the team.

Also, this clown stuff is not for teams that are contending for chips. This is for teams tryin' to play the spoiler part. Trash-talking is great but don't act like a joker.

...and add a freaking point-guard.

I still can't believe Bird traded Gerald Green, Plumlee, and this year's 1st round pick for Scola. Ouch...

I doubt anyone is touching Hibbert's contract.

Vogel will be made the goat. I do hope they re-sign Lance.

Their bench would have been really good this year had they kept those two. I don't know how they saw Scola being worth so much.

If they resign him its gonna be for a lot less then what he was probably expecting to get. No one is gonna pay him big money after all these antics. Have they used their amnesty clause? I wouldn't be surprised to see them use it on Hibbert.

They could amnesty Hibbert. But, Bird has said that Pacers are unwilling to pay a single dime in tax, therefore they'll not go over the cap. So, I'm guessing they're also not willing to pay $15M to a player who won't be on the roster.

What if Bird gets canned too though? The Scola trade and the Granger trade blew up in his face horribly when they probably could've had a more mature and equipped team this year if he hadn't jumped the gun.

Bird is not writing the checks. So, I'm sure he has no issues going over the soft cap and pay the fine. The owner doesn't want to pay the taxes. The teams that don't go over the soft cap - they get the tax money distributed between them.

So, if the Pacers were to go over the soft-cap by a dime - they won't get millions of dollars NBA collects from teams that do go over the cap.

lol that won't be a bad idea actually. But, I'm not counting OKC out yet.

I'll bet any amount of money that the Spurs win the series.

I know Bird isn't writing the checks but he's the one who put this team together and made those moves, and you can only stand by a legend so long before you have to let go and get some new blood run the team. I doubt it happens but I mean Gerald Green showed that he could make an impact when he was on the Nets and they never gave him a chance. Having a player like that coming off the bench would have paid off big time for these guys. Same goes for Plumlee and Granger, I'd take those three over Turner, Mahinmi, and Scola.

Whoever is in the FO - the owners have to be ok with paying HIbbert $15M to play for another team. Not sure if they'll be ok with that.

That's true, I just don't know how they could sign him to a contract like that when he can't even average 9 or 10 boards a game. His best season was a couple years ago when he was getting 8.8, but a guy his size should be bringing a lot more down a game. f**king PG averaged more boards a game then he did during the regular season. Its just pathetic. I hope he spends a lot of that money on a shrink because he really needs to toughen up mentally.
I want Lance on the Lakers so very much.

I also read somewhere some of his teammates were upset with him because he would steal their rebounds to pad his numbers during the regular season and playoffs lol
