People who thought KD was taking the easy way out jumping to Golden State, well this really is by Hayward. (Such an easier path to the finals in Leastern conference.)

Still going to get bounced by Lebron for at least 1 more year.

What a gut punch. I haven't been this hurt about a player since D-Will. I can't believe this s**t. The organization has done everything it can to make is a title contender with him as our #1 guy and he just bails on them all. For an organization and a team that isn't better than us. Easier road to the Finals but I still don't see how they can get by Cleveland. I really thought he was gonna be the next Stockton and Malone duo with Rudy but instead he turned his back on these guys when we were so close to being legitimate contenders.
God I hate sports.

The only thing I would disagree with is when he was a RFA they should have locked him up for 5 years then. Instead they told him to go out and see what he was worth, and then just matched (3 or 4 years I believe, and not a max offer ... although a good offer to be sure). He would still be with the team if they opened the wallets and maxed him back then.

He was nowhere near the same player then. No one thought he was gonna become what he is now. He was good but now he's great. Since then though they have put pieces around him to make this team great including Rubio last week and instead he s**ts on all that. The Warriors, Rockets and Spurs are all beatable. They're not invincible and I'd rather be known for being part of the the team that got through the West than the cakewalk of the East where he has one team to seriously go through. Plus does he really think he can win a championship with an older Al Hortford and midget Isiah Thomas who got shut down by Cleveland?

Damn dudes, I feel for you guys. I've been keeping my eye on you the last few years and was enjoying the progress you were making. Building and adding pieces the right way etc.

True, good point. He has definitely blossomed since 2014 (I think that is when his RFA thing happened). Definitely sucks for the Jazz. I was one Warrior fan that stated all year that the Jazz were the team I worried most about. I like Snyder as a coach too. With Hayward off the books, what does their CAP look like now?

Guys just curious do you view Rubio as an upgrade over Hill? (Because to me I think you could have just resigned Hill and still kept next year's 1st round pick.)

Sorry, homies. As a Sacramento fan, I feel your pain. You guys did everything in your power to keep the great white hope. Utah always bounces back. A great organization.
