I'd much rather have Street. Broxton scares me. The way he left LA is not the kind of thing you want to worry about happening.

Street and his 1.07 ERA and 0.71 WHIP can come on over. 34 k's in 25.1 ip, 15 for 15 in save ops this year. He's probably the best guy we can get without giving up too much farm talent. I'm just not sure SD would trade him within the division.

so sick
I kinda like that Melky is showing a little attitude out there, but maybe tone it down a bit? Try not to draw TOO much attention to yourself. Last thing we want if for him to get plunked in today's game, rush the mound, fight, then get suspended. That would KILL us.

I dont think he will get plunked, unless Hudson is in a bad mood, O'Flaherety threw high at Melky Yesterday, I think that was enough.

They kept talking about it on the radio this morning, especially with how Chipper responded after the game and Hudson's reputation as the kind of pitcher not to shy away from hitting someone.

I dont think it will happen but i wouldnt be shocked if it does, just cuz the way Cabrera was when he was here. Hudson will be smart about it if he hits he will hit him early. I dont think its necessary to hit him but with too old guys like Chipper and Hudson you never know
Man this is why the radio isn't the same, no mention of Melky taunting

Were they booing him?

Hopefully the game will be clean....and the Giants win.

so hard, every chance they got. and of course they cheered like crazy when he committed that error lol.
even the braves announcers were trying to rip on melky, making a bunch of fat jokes.

he also fake-tossed the ball into the stands after catching the 3rd out of an inning a few times too. he was taunting them every chance he got back.

I think they would but it might cost the Giants more than it would a team outside of the division. You simply cannot ignore the stats he has put up even if they are in Petco. Adding Street would really solidy the Giants pen. Casilla would be a much better pitcher in the 7th than in the 9th and everyone would have a clear role in the pen.
