Man, Shawn Estes was railing on Lincecum on CSNBA...talking about the Giants making excuses for him because they always want to protect "Timmy". They cut him off in the middle of his monologue and went to a commercial...don't know if it was a mistake or not.

Not really sure what to do about Lincecum...maybe the league has figured him out...I always thought that if you took more pitches from Lincecum, he'd get himself in trouble since he almost always has to throw a ball outta the zone to get a out/swing and miss.

Nah the stuff is still there, it's the command his fastball has lost some mph but he is still striking out a good amount. It's true that his change up is almost always out of the zone but if he can locate his fb the batters will see that change up and miss

So how many more games does Bochy keep Lincecum starting until he finally gets it? At some point, if not already, Timmy will be hurting the team's playoff chances. As someone previously has said, having 2 of 5 starters doing poorly wont help.

I was ready to deem Lincecum officially back if he had another good start today...

He made up for all the runs he didn't allow against the Dodgers

The Reality is:
Tim Lincecum is statistically the worst starter in all of baseball this year. ERA is 6.0+.
Time to send his ass to the bullpen until he figures it out.
Have Brad Penny start in his spot.
