He fell asleep for the entire first quarter of the Niner's game at home against the Rams......he gets no pity from me.

I was also left of the list, but since I don't post very often, I will let it slide....for now.

No pity from you?! WE'RE FAMILY!!!

Only through marriage. Niners and Giants > Family through blood > Family through marriage. You screwed.

Andrew Baggarly ‏ @CSNBaggs #SFGiants lineup vs. Kershaw: CF Pagan, 2B Theriot, RF Melky, C Posey, LF Pill, 3B Arias, 1B Belt, SS Crawford, P Vogelsong

Interesting.
I was wondering when Belt would be up there against a lefty. Unfortunately, it's against Kershaw
Bochy really needs to let Blanco leadoff. Yes, Pagan is fast, but his OBP is horrendous even WITH his hitting streak.

I'm cool with the line up overall, although I would have considered Buriss over Theriot and would have put Arias or Buriss in between Belt and Crawford but hey at least Belt is going to be starting against a Left Hander, can't complain too much
Play Burris dammit

I agree with you here is my ideal every day line up until Sandoval comes back

1) Blanco CF/LF
2) Arias 3B
3) Cabrerra RF
4) Posey C
5) Belt 1B
6) Pagan/Pill/Huff CF/LF Bochy can pick match ups on this one
7) Buriss 2B
8) Crawford SS

Amen. Can't wait for Belt to be on base tonight, and then rely on Crawford/Vogelsong to drive him in.

The Giants should end the first base experiment with Posey, or the thought of him playing any other position for the next 10 years. He is a catcher...simple as that. He's healthy, and he should be treated just like any other catcher. Don't catch on a day game following a night game, etc. but other than that, he squats. And the Hector Sanchez personal catcher BS for Zito is just that...BS. If you are Steve Carlton you warrant a personal catcher like Tim McCarver was. Barry Zito doesn't get one. Let Posey play his position, and stop with the overprotection. Let him get his head straight playing one spot, and then he can concentrate on hitting.

I personally like that Bochy is easing Posey's workload at catcher to start the season because of last years gruesome injury. Put a heavy work load on Posey now and you could risk wearing him down in August and September. It's easy to forget Posey still hasn't played a full season yet.
