Sorry but Bochy SHOULD get Belt's bat in the lineup regardless, he can't be worse defensively than Tanaka.

How quickly the WZ turned on Tanaka. Wasnt he some favorite a week ago. Reality is though.. he is garbage just like all our LFs.

The Giants designated Hunter Strickland for assignment. There's your 40-man move.

I might be upset if I knew who the f**k Hunter Strickland is.
how much longer do we have to suffer with having Torres on the team?

I don't know, if I were to make an educated guess, the Giants would go with what they have for the remainder of the home stand, then see where they stand after Sunday, and go from there.

I have never had a problem with Tanaka's bat against RHers over Torres, but his defense is just as bad if not worse in left. Bochy needs to get over the matchups and just put the best team out there:

Blanco
Scutaro
Posey
Panda
Pence
Belt
Frenchy (can sub with Tanaka or Torres if he starts to fail)
Crawford

He was actually pitching great as a closer for SJ earlier in the year (Cal League all-star) before getting injured (TJ surgery).

well we need to give the PT to Perez, and also to see what we have in Kieschnick/Pegeuro. All 3 of those guys over Torres, Tanaka, and Franky

My guess.... the Giants will be too far back by the time Pagan could help. So, September will include Gary Brown, Kieschnick, and Perez. Hopefully I am wrong on this and the Giants are in the hunt to the end.

i hope we sell and get a power hitter in return. Our farm doesn't have many good power bats.
