I'd say that's about fair.

Esp. when a couple of years ago the giants had the weakest farm systems in baseball. Way to replenish the farm.

MLB came out with their Top 100 Prospects for 2013. Gary Brown at #100 and Kyle Crick at #86. Ex-Giants property Zack Wheeler is at #8.

I guess MLB.com would rank our system lower than 17th. We have some good pitching prospects but it is still weak overall.

He is listed as restricted and is not on the 40 man roster. I'm not sure what restricted means.

He is restriced because he hasnt been able to get a visa to come in to this country and play. I think he is done as a prospect. and I really doubt he ever plays major league baseball.

I think he put to bed the myth that being fat directly results in struggles on the field. He was fat last year AND coming off injuries, and he carried us to a WS title.

Not that he can keep letting himself go, but i think him and Prince Fielder teamed up in 2012 to prove that you can be fat and good at the same time.
