It's embarrassing. Too many knee surgeries and the back surgery to boot. There is only so many times you can change your swing. I don't know why he just doesn't take a year or so off while healthy and work on his game. He took time off before, but that was mainly to recover. he is just out there hacking now and the world is laughing.

I heard on the radio the other day that people would rather watch tiger shoot an 85 than someone shoot a 65. I don't feel that way. I also don't feel sorry for him though.

Ever since he got popped for sleeping around he hasn't been the same. That was 7 years ago.

Its true he hasnt one a major since then. However, he was player of the year in 2009 and then again just two years ago in 2013. He won 5 times that year and that just is hardly ever done.

He should just swallow his pride, hire Butch Harmon back (which his ego would never allow) and try for one more comeback in 2016.

The Harmon split was bad and the Haney split was just insult to injury at that point. He was dominant under both of those coaches and the past couple of retards he's used have been worthless. I agree with John though. Stop changing your swing and just play golf

Not every time someone fails is because they choke. Dustin missed putts of less than 6 feet all day as did virtually everyone out there. Speith missed a little putt on 17 and 3 putted and he is the best putter out there. Dustin is about 160th on tour in making putts of under 6 feet. It is simply his biggest weakness.

I would say that the double by Grace hitting it out of bounds and the double by Speith were bigger choke jobs because the swings were obviously so much different that what they had done all day and in my opinion the result of pressure. In fact, if Dustin made the putt I think you could make a case that Jordan totally choked it away.

It is too bad because DJ hit the ball better than Speith and really deserved to win the tournament. But, he still is filthy rich and has Paulina Gretsky so I wont feel too sorry for him.

Perhaps but that was not your basic 10-15 ft putt and you know that. It was a slippery breaking downhill putt over a surface that was awful. Spetih had just 3 putted on 17 and he might be the best putter in the world. Hate to think how many putts Rory missed under 6 feet this week.

Dustin played better than Speith from tee to green yesterday without question. He didnt hit a shot that was pathetic like Spetih or Grace hit. He just didnt putt well and again his stats on short putts is really bad on tour. He isnt a very good putter and its certainly his weakness.

I think choking is when a player who normally does something very well completely folds and fails when the situation gets tough. Like an 80% FT shooter missing time after time in the last few minutes. Or a FG kicker that is 90% missing from dead on under great weather in the final seconds. In DJ's case he is 151st on tour in putts inside 5 feet and 150th in total putting.

Did you think everytime you missed a key put in a tourney it was because you were a choker?

That 3 putt was a choke. Not every time you 3 putt is it a choke, but that one was. Sink eagle to win, birdie to tie, par to lose out on a playoff for the US Open Championship. That's the definition of a choke job.

I disagree for the reasons I stated above. DJ missed putts all day long as did most of the field and he simply isnt a great putter. That putt was a nasty putt on a terrible surface. There were no gimmies on those horrible greens thats for sure.

The bigger choke really was Spieth's iron shot on 17 that almost gave the tourney away. All he has to do is hit his iron on the green there or somewhere close and its over. Or Grace hitting a shot on 16 that I would hit. LOL Huge choke there.

LOL at not understanding. I have played enough competitive sports to know what choking means.

I'm sorry but it ISNT a choke everytime you fail even if it is at the end of the game. You dont seem to understand this. On a putting green there are factors that come into play. Like a horrible green. I think people are always so quick to label someone as a choker when they dont succeed.

Everyone is all over Jordan's nuts today (and the guy is amazing) but his swing on 17 could have and maybe should have cost him the tourney. IMO, that was just as big of a choke job as DJs putt. But it will be forgotton because he was able to 2 putt on 18 and DJ wasnt.
