But my feeling right now is more hopeful skepticism.

Obviously Barnes is talented. I just have a hard time getting excited about him given how underwhelming he was in college.

And yes, I would have rather taken Drummond at 7. I'm going to stick to that.

Dude, you guys got Harrison Barnes with the 7th pick. IMO, his basement is as a solid player, which is commensurate with the 7th pick. Even in the worst case scenario for him, barring injury of course, this was a good pick. That's WORST case scenario, IMO.

I concur with this very logical and well thought out post.

I didn't root for losses and they still got the pick. win-win for me nancy

Oh please. You flat out advocated them trying to win, and got upset at anyone for implying that it would be better for the franchise if they didn't, and those people were 100% correct, Florence.

You are wrong just about every year in the draft so I think the Warriors hit a HR. LOL J/K with you Crazy

My track record on predictions hasn't been great lately, but that won't stop me from making them lol

I just feel that anyone expecting Harrison Barnes to be a star player will be disappointed.

He's a safe pick though. Probably a 15 point - 5 rebound kind of guy

We should trade up and grab Terrence Jones

or the Rockets will pick him as I post that

I'm very happy with Barnes at #7. We basically got a Luol Deng type SF without having to pull off a major trade.
LOL at some of you guys talking out of your ass about Sullinger. I'm an OSU fan as you know and have seen Sully play IN PERSON multiple times. Dude is a baller. If he came out last year, he was likely a top 3 pick. Health concerns and a young team much different than the 2010-2011 one changed his role on the team. Sully was not the reason we lost a single game last year... he was the reason we won most of them.

At 30 he is a STEAL.

Thats probably about right. With the Warriors scorers I dont expect him to score 20 a night.

Do you really think I should feel guilty today because I didn't jump for joy on tanking? lol please that will never happen.

I just wanted the Warriors to grow some balls and take Drummond despite his bust potential.

Trade up for perry jones?
i would. I think the bust potential is worth the risk at 20something

1) We don't have much ammunition to trade up.

2) Perry Jones is not worth trading up for.
