Wow... Just thinking back to when MIA signed Bosh and James. The excitement and the expectations. Almost everyone penciled them in for at least a couple of rings. This experiment has failed so far. I know it's early in the Indiana series, but boy they look VERY far from being a championship calibur team. They need to upgrade the rest of that s*itty team.

I just don't think their role players are that bad. Chalmers, Battier, Haslem, Miller...Dallas won a title last year with one superstar and bunch of vets that know how to play. It's how their stars play that makes them vulnerable. They don't create a lot of good shots. I've been saying this for years as it relates to LeBron. If they're gonna win titles, it's gonna be with the overwhelming defense they played last year.

Well we possibly won't find out What Miami could do with the extra year of chemistry. The Heat were not crushed by the Mavs last year either. It was pretty close (tied 2-2) .

I don't buy the chemistry angle. Prime Kobe got Pau at the trade deadline, then made the Finals last year & won two straight titles right after that. Their time is now.
I know I will probably be flamed for this due to how Wade is playing currently, but if the Heat front office is serious about winning a title, they should trade LeBron for Dwight Howard. Been saying it since the Mavs celebrated on the court last season.

A big 3 of Wade, Bosh and Dwight is FAR superior to a big 3 of Bron, Wade and Bosh.

That sounds like the Lakers built chemistry and won once they had more of it.
I thought this was pretty cool. It's hard not to like Kyrie Irving

Getting sick and tired of all this Heat talk on the radio.

points to a lack of leadership.

Yeah. Heat do not have what the Lakers had in Kobe/Phil leadership.

I can't recall Phil ever being in a similar situation... Pippen / Kukoc ordeal??!?
This is what MIA needs to do:

"I like role players who aren't very good but have a skill," Pop says with a chuckle, though he is not joking. "I know who's going to have the ball on our team, and need players who understand this."

It caused me to lose interest in the NBA. You had that and then NY getting all those players, I figured the domino would be 6 super teams and a bunch of also rans. The fact that teams that haev actually built their teams in small markets are serious contenders gives me hope, but I still think the league would be better with about 6 less teams.

Might be the best commercial I've seen since Lil Penny

I'm calling Kyrie "Uncle Drew" from now on lmao

Wouldn't be surprised if that stuck. Hell, Grandmama stuck with LJ.
