Seattle has the same problem Sacramento has. They aren't getting a team any time soon.

YES
Dont think Miami down 2-1 is a big deal except the way they are losing the last 2 games!!!!

I can't remember the last championship team losing 2 games back to back like that (75 points and terrible on defense).

I always saw as Lebron as a guy who could play with the big boys up front, which I still think he can, but he wasn't ready to step up and be a leader when the team needed him most. What happened to the Lebron who scored 20 straight points in a game and showed promise of carrying a team?!?!?!??

Lebron, it is now expected from me to fail. I will be surprised if he turns into a legend and carries this team like he should. He isn't Kobe or MJ. Hell he isn't even Reggie Miller

I'm stoked that once both LA teams are eliminated we'll be guaranteed a finals featuring at least one team I actually like for the first time in years.

The Heat don't have no Dawgs.

Spurs got Capt Jack he's a Dawg, Clips got Reggie Evans he's a Dawg, Thunder with Perk, even the Lake Show has a lower case dawg in Matt Barnes.

Celtics have KG and Pierce battle tested Dawgs who won't backdown, Philly got Brand and Doug Collins who has been sneaky good at coaching this team to embrace their under-dawg status, Indy is a TEAM and they got a guy like Psycho T who loves to be a s**t disturber.

Miami? Haslem was a Dawg but he's Ol' Yeller status now, DWade was a dawg at one point, but be it age or injuries, or just plain goin' Hollywood (South Beach?) he hasn't played up to it this season. And then there's Lebron who as of this moment is more b***h than dawg, and everyone is waiting (and waiting) to see if he has anything else in him. But they don't have enough tough guys, guys who don't take no s**t, they have a lot of frontrunners, but no legit guys who will fight for it. I mean they got punked by Jason Terry last year.

Until they face adversity laugh in its face and b***h slap it back from which it came they are all flash no substance.

I love this post.

I read the whole thing in the voice of Sir Charles.

I don't even take pleasure in the failures of the Heat anymore. It's just sad that players who decided to "team up" in order to attain success and therby "validate" their careers in the eyes of the public can't attain the success that they thought was guaranteed.

The saddest thing is how redundant Lebron and Wade are on the same team.

It's just sad that they can't realize they won't have a dominant team unless Wade or Lebron decide one of them should go for the 6th man award.

Putting either guy on the bench is a little absurd. They're both 1st ballot HOFers in their prime. What they need to do is develop the ability to score in the post. The 3 perimeter players in the modern era that have won multiple titles (Jordan, Magic, Kobe) were all very good at scoring with their back to the basket. You can't attack a good team from the same direction over the course of 7 games and expect to be a good offensive team.

But that ship's probably sailed. Wade's 30, and LeBron's 27 and in his 9th year in the league. It would have probably happened by now if it was gonna happen.

Except for Sacramento is willing and capable of building an arena...
Wow... Just thinking back to when MIA signed Bosh and James. The excitement and the expectations. Almost everyone penciled them in for at least a couple of rings. This experiment has failed so far. I know it's early in the Indiana series, but boy they look VERY far from being a championship calibur team. They need to upgrade the rest of that s*itty team.

Yeah, that's the only thing, neither of them will develop a post game. They basically need to build a sub team and try to sell it to Wade or James. Of course, their egos won't allow that but it would be the best immediate solution if they want to win even 1 ring.

Let's not forget bosh is a huge part of the equation. Especially his down low presence. I still think the Heat would have walked into the finals with no injuries.

Even with Bosh, Wade and Lebron on the court at the same time won't cut it vs top teams. They got to the finals last year but the east never really had any true complete teams. Boston and Indiana are probably the most but I don't see Boston hanging anymore with any of the top 3 teams from the West.

Well we possibly won't find out What Miami could do with the extra year of chemistry. The Heat were not crushed by the Mavs last year either. It was pretty close (tied 2-2) .
