Derrick Rose just completely changed my opinion of him after this fine was levied...I thought he was supposed to be off the charts humble and only care about winning...now he goes off and calls himself a superstar and complained about officiating after a WIN. Almost every single time a guy gets fined for criticising the refs, it's after a loss which is at the very least understandable and logical. Complaining after a win shows you're just pissed because if more fouls were called, he'd get to pad his stats. He's clearly being insincere when he says all he cares about is winning because they WON.

Have you watched any Bulls games? The man takes a damn beating almost every time he drives in the lane, if somebody even breathes Lebron, Wade, or Kobe its a foul. Well worth the fine. Maybe the refs will finally give him some respect.

Don't even bother with that, one incident with Rose and all of a sudden he's the worst guy. This just shows that people are waiting for Rose to trip up. If people actually watch the games, they'd see the beating he takes every night. Many analysts have said themselves that because Rose is such a good finisher at the basket, the reds tend to swallow their whistle. If Rose wanted to pad his stats, then he wouldn't be chucking up so many shots so you can just end that nonsense. But whatever, for me it was great seeing Rose get ticked off during the game. But whatever, haters gonna hate. I guess Bill Simmons was right, Bulls fans will defend Rose no matter what

First of all, I'm just saying it's quite surprising to hear someone who everyone considers the epitome of humble to call himself a superstar (I haven't heard Kevin Durant or Chris Paul or someone like that call themself a superstar). Second of all, he could very well have a legitimate gripe, but to voice it after a win is what blows my mind. If you're all about winning and you lose a close game because of some s**tty officiating, then complaining is understandable and legit. It's just hard to think someone is all about winning when they're complaining after a win. For an analogy, It's like someone who always talks about just wanting sex, doesn't matter with who, just wants sex. Then after you have sex, you complain that the chick wasn't hot enough. And that's not even a good analogy because sex with a hot chick is still obviously better than sex with an ugly chick but winning pretty is no better than winning ugly lol. So Rose got what he's supposedly all about (the W), so you'd figure if he's still angry, it's just because he felt like he could have scored more points with more trips to the line. Very 2-faced. Again, if your goal is to try and wake refs up to do a better job of giving you calls, fine, but do so after a loss, when the bad calls (or no-calls) actually mattered.

Or you could say he was complaining because those calls made a game that could've been a blowout, a bit closer than it should've been. I get the whole superstar thing, could've done without that comment, but whatever he was fed up. You can only bite your tongue for so long..
Adrian Wojnarowski ‏ @WojYahooNBA
Mike D'Antoni has resigned as New York Knicks coach, a source tells Y! Sports.

SIGN HIM
When the hell well Melo's overrated a55 take some blame? The Knicks play so differently with him in the lineup. He goes down on the block and Lin thinks he has to pass it to him. He does and the off the ball movement is killed. The proof is in the pudding. The Knicks record with Melo is horrendous.

Again, winning by 50 or winning by 1 affects the standings the same way. That shows his head's not in the right place if he's pissed because they didn't win by enough. I don't think I've ever previously heard an athlete express displeasure for not winning by not enough...it's always your cliche "a W is a W." Which is how it should be.

You are blowing this WAY out of proportion. He is a superstar, he won the damn MVP last year. Who cares if he references that? He is 36th in the NBA for foul attempts and he is constantly driving to the rack playing aggressive. Did you watch the game last night? There were several instances when a foul could have been called, and it's been like that all year. He was pissed, voiced his opinion and that's it. No big deal. He is still a stand up guy. The refs need to be called out. They have sucked this year.

First of all, I'm not saying he's not a star. I'm saying it's quite ironic for someone who everyone considers the epitome of humble to call himself a superstar. Just because you are one doesn't mean you have to call yourself one. Like I said, Kevin Durant and Chris Paul are even bigger superstars, yet I've never heard them call themselves a superstar. I don't care if he should have shot 100 free throws and in reality shot 0, complaining after you win does NOT make you look like you're all about winning. How could it? If you accomplished what you're supposedly all about, complaining makes no sense, no matter how bad the officiating was.

You are nitpicking. If CP3 or Durant said they were a star it would not matter depending on the context of the discussion. Rose said that because he was talking about foul calls for a guy who won the MVP last year. Superstars get more calls supposedly. He was complaining about a season trend, not that one game. Of course he wants to win. That one quote changes that? Give me a break.

You are reaching bro. Not a big deal.
Why does Chris Broussard talk like he's black lmao

definitely not a big deal, but like I said earlier, people are just waiting for him to slip up, just so they can have something against him. For some reason, it just feels like andes has something against Rose, which is fine I guess....can't satisfy them all..

Lakers, Blazers, Timberwolves talk three-team deal to move Crawford, Beasley

The trade would send Jamal Crawford from Portland to Minnesota; send Michael Beasley from Minnesota to the Los Angeles; and Steve Blake plus a pick from Los Angeles to Portland.
