Hopefully Couture is back for Thursday's game.
at 62 games this season: 33-22-7 / 73 pts, 178 GF – 159 GA
at 62 games last season: 35-21-6 / 76 pts, 174 GF – 159 GA
i already love winnick. if he brings that kind of energy night in and night out this trade is well worth the cost.

Wow nearly identical.
i didn't like our inability to clear the zone last night, we turned it over too much and kept just missing getting it out.

the f**king refs. holy crap that was a travesty. apparently it's cool to hold and interfere as much as you want and call it 'being physical'.

other than puck possession, that was a solid effort. if they possess the puck a bit better, philly gets a lot less chances and the sharks put up one or two more goals.

well,

we traded two scorers away and got back to solid players

One is a defenseman getting into his groove and the other has been injured

Our best defenseman had a broken foot for the first month (half?) of the season

So while we haven't improved, we haven't reached our ceiling either.
Brad Winchester will score a goal today for his birthday. Book it.
Must win tonight.
anyone here looking to get tix for tonight? i got some extra ones.
Notes:

- Dominic Moore will play today, reportedly.

- Havlat and Murray still out

- Couture a game-time decision

- Coach McLellan is out.

- Sheppard is continuing on his conditioning assignment in Worcester. Will be interesting to see what they do when he's up to speed.

- Desjardins likely a scratch.

Coyotes are losing 3-1 so far so yes tonight is a must win.
Was only a matter of time the way we kept giving the puck away. I do not understand why we are making idiotic passes to players that are simply not even CLOSE to being open.
Well fellas, I don't like our chances tonight. We simply don't look grittier, nor do we look faster than Buffalo tonight.
