Yeah, if people watched Clemson play they would realize Clemson is legit.

Big games this weekend:
Oklahoma at Kansas State (This is Kansas States' chance to really become a contender)
Baylor at Oklahoma State (Can RG3 pull out an upset?)
Clemson at Georgia Tech (It will be interesting because GT is tries to control time of possession so much)
Stanford at USC (tough road game, and IMO its always dangerous when a team comes off a win by killing their opponent)

I'd take the obvious upset of Oklahoma over Kansas State.

ESPNU fan poll has Wisconsin ahead of Stanford. Man this s**t is ridiculous.

I know that I may be in the minority, but I would love to see Stanford vs Boise. This is how this could happen

1. LSU-They will stay at this spot or drop several spots if they lose to bama.
2. Alabama-Either them or LSU will be number one while the other will drop out of the top 5.
3.Oklahoma State-Meh, they are not THAT good. They will either lose a game or the title game against Oklahoma (assuming they do not play each other prior to the title game)
4. Boise St. Stay undefeated. (crosses fingers)
5. Clemson-Like Oklahoma State, they are not THAT GOOD. Plus, if Stanford beats Oregon, Stanford MAY leap frog them in the standings without Clemson even losing one game.
6. Stanford-Beat Oregon.

Now, I do foresee that the winner of LSU and Bama will stay undfeated, so the title game if Boise stays undefeated would be LSU/Bama vs Boise. The only way that Stanford would be in the mix if they stay undefeated AND LSU or Bama both loses a game

second of all, Boise will NOT stay ahead of Stanford if they both win out
Clemson IS that good, looking at their 4 remaining games they have a good chance to go 12-0, and unless Miami comes out of the Coastal (only team with enough talent to hang with them) they probably win the ACC title.
LSU/'Bama loser, unless it's a blowout should not drop past Boise, that'd be RIDICULOUS.

Boise fans need to give it up with their dreams of making it to the NC over undefeated BCS teams, and in this case a 1-loss LSU/Bama should be ahead of them as well, this isn't even debatable

and I actually like Boise, but they need to go through a more gauntlet-like schedule like other teams before they can talk NC

And in the past, didn't the big 12 have a title game? Maybe it's changed, maybe I'm wrong, maybe you need lay off the viagra because you're too excited bro. I have my opinion and you have yours.

the big XII's last title game was last year since they lost 2 schools.

Bix XII had 12 teams, 2 divisions of 6 teams and winner of each div went to the title game
Pac 10 had 10 teams, and they all played against each other, best conf. record won the conf.

Now the Big XII has 10 teams and the Pac is the Pac-12, so those roles reversed.

Trust me... most Boise fans know for a fact we'll never get a BCS title shot, no matter what. At least the realistic Boise fans. The most I ever hope for is a BCS bowl bid. We play way too easy of a schedule compared to other top schools to ever really have a shot at a title game. Do I hope we'll get a shot one of these days to see what we're made of? Of course. However, I know it'll never happen.

Either way, this scenario will always play out, whether Boise plays in a BCS game or the very unlikely NC shot.

- If we somehow won... everyone will say they only beat the other top team because Boise played such an easy schedule. While their opponent had to play such a grueling schedule to get there.

It's just the way it is. I've come to terms with it because that's how it's been since we beat Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl a few years back. I'd love to get into a better conference one of these days, but it hasn't happened yet. The MWC seems like it's just a new WAC.

thank you, and it does suck for you guys, because the question always pops in my head "could they really do this in the PAC, for example" and I think you could, at least compete and be one of the top teams in the conference TODAY, but it doesn't matter because the reality is you're way better than whoever is on your schedule, which is mostly made up of schools that can only dream about having consistent 10-win seasons

Four of 'em. Weak competition. FSU sucks, Auburn sucks, the rest of their opponents have been garbage. VTech is the only decent team on their schedule.

If Stanford beats USC and Oregon, the computers will bump them above Clemson. No doubt.

I agree Stanford should be above Clemson, but you're really hating on Clemson at this point, if you can't see that they are a legit team then I really don't know what to tell you. Even if FSU and Auburn aren't elite, they were still challenging games and Clemson handled them, then went on the road at one of the toughest environments in College Football and absolutely dominated them, that was the only game where they didn't score 35+, and their D held VT's offense to 3. Take away their first 2 games (Troy and Wofford) and they're still averaging 41+ PPG, including back to back 50-burgers in their last 2 games. Their offense is scary good, Boyd is a dual threat QB, Ellington is an NFL-caliber back while Bellamy and Howard have deadly speed, Sammy Watkins is 7th in the nation in receiving yards, tied for leader in TD's, and it's only a TRUE FRESHMAN, Dwayne Allen may be the #1 TE taken in next year's draft, I could go on and on ....

if Auburn could win last year with their 200th ranked defense, Clemson can beat anyone this year, they're for real. At GT next week is gonna be difficult, and at SCar to end the season will be tough as well, but they CAN go 12-0, and you can't downplay that by saying the ACC is a joke
