Let's hope sportsfan is right and the next fight is manny vs floyd.

Floyd didn't look slow to me at all. He was quick and deadly accurate with his punches and dodged most of Ortiz's punches.

He couldn't avoid that headbutt. Slow mofo.
I had the best seat in the house to watch the fight. Watched for free at the casino, was at the black jack table directly in front of the mega screen. Also, I killed at the table, I was barely even paying attention to the cards but managed to win 10 hands in a row at one point.

Too bad the fight was lame

If that was supposed to be his southpaw tuneup fight for Pac, he totally wasted it.

Bert Sugar thought it was rediculous that Mayweather was asking for Olympic style blood testing and thats why he thinks this fight will never happen. Mayweather was even going off in his post fight press conference about Pac man and PHD's, saying its hard to believe he went from starting at 105 to now 155 without using PHD's

He didn't look too slow to me either, but when he realized that Ortiz wasn't too much of a threat to him, he pretty much tried to cruise through it. I'm not a Mayweather fan by any means, but the guy is a beast in the ring and could probably dominate most of the fighters in the division.

Yep. I am just glad I got paid to watch this fight . I really think Pac would have dominated Ortiz...Mayweather was having his problems.

And its funny how some people don't know the difference between cheap and illegal. Ofcourse it was legal...AND it was cheap.

Rule #1 in fighting - protect yourself at all times
Rule#1 in manhood - don't hit somebody who isn't facing you and is not fully aware that they are in a fight

I couldn't have hit somebody like that

For the record, i think Mayweather was going to win in 12 on points anyway......also I would not fully discard that the whole thing could have been scripted...from the headbutt on
Here's what it comes down to.

Floyd said he doesn't need to fight Pacquiao. Financially, that is true.

but if he wants to be remembered as the best, he needs to prove it to the fans and the media. because whether he or anyone else likes it or not, they are the ones who will make that determination.

Rocky Marciano finished his career undefeated but to the majority, is he remembered as the Greatest?

That's the thing though, Mayweather doesn't give a s**t what fans think. That's why we'll never see the fight we've been chanting for. He thinks he's the best of all time, and that's all that matters to him.

Unfortunately true. and he wonders why people don't like him......

Mayweather vs. Pacquiao will forever be dabated like Tyson vs Ali.

But could have called out a 81 year old man?

Mayweather vs. Pac will piss the true boxing fans more cuz it's a fight that realistically can happen. Both sides just can't come to an understanding. It's a damn shame.
