No one is rigging the draft for Cleveland so that they can pick first in a draft with no obvious #1 talent.

Would it surprise you if it was? I don't think it is, but I wouldn't be flabbergasted if it came to light that the lottery was operated in a "less-than-ethical" manner.

I wouldn't be surprised at all. Then again, I really don't care.

For example, let's say there were 1,000 balls and 200 of them belonged to the kings. Once the Kings slotted 7th, the number of active balls dropped from 1000 to 800 which bumped up the percentages for the remaining teams. So if a team that had a 5% chance (50 balls) still has those 50 balls but now it is out of 800 (6.25%).
Right??

Kyrie Irving.
I dont think he would even be considered as a first overall in most drafts.

Got measurements from the draft combine. Kyrie Irving was 6' 1.75" in socks and 6' 3.5" in shoes with a 6' 4" wingspan. But 10.3 body fat
chadfordinsider
Derrick Williams was 6' 7.25" in socks and 6' 8.75" in shoes. He had a 7' 1.25" wingspan and a 9' 0" standing reach.
chadfordinsider
Turkey's Enes Kanter measured out well. 6' 9.75" in socks and 6' 11.25" in shoes with a good 7' 1.5" wing and a 9' 1.5" standing reach
chadfordinsider
Jeremy Tyler measured with the biggest wingspan -- a whopping 7' 5". He also had the largest standing reach at 9' 4.5"
chadfordinsider
Providence's Marshon Brooks had the biggest wingspan among guards with a crazy 7' 1" wingspan. He's longer than bothMorris twins.
chadfordinsider
Kawhi Leonard had a huge 7' 3" wingspan and the biggest hands of anyone at the camp. But just 6' 7" in shoes.
chadfordinsider
Among the players that didn't meaasure wel were Tobias Harris -- just 6' 6.5" in socks -- pretty short if he's a power forward
chadfordinsider
Morehead States Kenneth Faried measured just 6' 6" in socks and 6' 7.5" in shoes. However he has a 7' wingspan and a 9' standing reach.
chadfordinsider
Trey Thompkins had 15.5 percent body fat - the most among the prospects here.
chadfordinsider
Kemba Walker 5' 11.5" in socks. 6' 1" in shoes. 6' 3.5" wing Brandon Knight 6' 1.5" socks and 6' 3.25" in shoes. 6' 6.75" wing

According to Sam Amico of Fox Sports, the Pacers are making a "serious play" for the No. 2 pick.
"Danny Granger is being mentioned," he tweeted. "So are Ricky Rubio and Michael Beasley."
Alex Kennedy of HOOPSWORLD adds this: "The Timberwolves are shopping the No. 2 pick, but it sounds like they're asking for a lot in return. Minnesota feels that they have enough youth on their roster. They want a meaningful player back."
Granger has been listed as a possible trade chip for the Pacers, so his inclusion makes some sense. But Beasley wouldn't seem to be a culture fit for Indiana.
It's possible the Pacers could select Enes Kanter with the No. 2 pick, as an oft listed need of the team is an upgrade at power forward -- though Tyler Hansbrough came on a bit towards the end of the season.

Indiana is insane to think about this trade. You don't trade Granger away for that kind of crap.
