Lots of Utah fans were fake VGK fans, they tossed their jerseys out. Now all of a sudden, they hate the Knights? That is mostly what I mean by fake lol.

Maybe there weren't tons of hockey fans in NV when Vegas became a team but it's a hockey town now for sure. Plus, Mark Stone touched on this some, if hockey can grow as a sport and more ppl get involved/interested, this is a good thing. Seeing more kids learning/playing hockey, very good. It's obviously not just exclusive to let's say, the Original Six, that would have gotten old.

Busting chops is one the best things about being a sports fan

Being at the Vegas Final was a sweaty and glorious experience, hotter than hell outside with hundreds of thousands of ppl. You just drip sweat the entire time lol. Yes, a little strange to have ice hockey in the scorching desert but somehow it works.
