Well, Avs don't have the money and will be too top heavy and with no pieces on the other line. Good for Mikko and Girard and Bednar needs to take a hike. Bunch of chokers.

from what I can tell on rosters, Dallas has a very slight edge on cap space next year largely due to Harley making $4M (but that space basically goes to Oetter)

Nill has been a genius staggering rosters. Johnston got his pay day when Benn expires. Harley gets payday when Segs expires. Robo gets money from marchment expiring. Etc. the non stop draft pipeline is insane. Bischel looks like a steal

I see the big reason being Dallas is rolling without spending on 3rd/4th line next year. Avs have roughly $11M committed to bottom6. Largely due to Coyle or Colton.

Dallas on paper next year has $4M. Dallas will bank on Benn taking like $2M and aim to find 2 $2-3M depth guys.

I think Granlund may take a cheap deal to do all Finn line, then Robo//Johnston/Segs

Our stupid special teams let us down all season. If Bednar doesn't get canned, they need to let go on a couple of the assistants. We also don't have anything on the pipeline and draft picks as we went all in this season. I think this run and gun smaller players are not meant for playoff hockey. I was expecting this result again but I don't know why I still watch it as I've seen this movie before. Oh well, we'll see what happens in this offseason. Im just lost for words last night as Rantanen decleated his former team and gave them the biggest FU ever. It doesn't get worse than that. Yikes!

On smaller players and playoff hockey, I think it's a big reason stars gave up Stankoven. He is and will be a 2nd line great player for a long time. But he's 5'7

Funny thing, we traded Rantanen to the East and of course he gets traded back in a couple of months of all places, Dallas lol. I don't know where we go from here. Something is wrong with the ingredients or philosophy here. Will it be the coach, the GM or both needs to be let go. The fans want blood lol!

Heaskenin and Robertson should be close to coming back. I don't know how they did vs STL and WPG this season. Sometimes styles of play also is somewhat a factor. Avs can beat EDM or Jets but can't get through vs Dallas and LV. But Dallas has some problem vs EDM. Hockey is so hard and unpredictable sometimes.

I don't know who wins between STL /WPG tonight. I think it's jets because they're at home. But Buck is a bit broken mentally and Binnington can steal you a game. IMHO, I think a goalie is just as important as a QB in winning games.

For matchup on style, Dallas definitely wants to face the Blues
