Starting to lose a little hope in him myself. He'll pop off a random triple double here and there that will be nice, but then he'll get carried most of the other games. Stat sheet tonight shows that. Been that way a lot this year.

He reminds me a lot of Michael Carter-Williams. Just too inconsistent

MCW can shoot though. If Payton could develop a jump shot he'd be solid. He can't shoot for s**t. The only points he gets are taking advantage of mistakes and getting to the basket.

Guy just turned 22 yesterday, but still. Needs to get going. On the Magic's Facebook page they were wishing him a Happy Birthday and asking what you would get him for his birthday and most people say "a jumpshot"
Lol

Nah the knock on MCW is his shooting. His FG% is up this year but has a very inconsistent jump shot. Also a bad FT shooter

The dude can score though. He has a outside shot. Payton has almost a non-existent shot outside a couple feet from the basket and even more so from 3.
