I'm not sure what the Magic are trying to accomplish. How much better have they gotten? Couldn't they have waited until offseason, or do these trades put them in any sort of contention?

I dont think these moves put them in contention for anything more than a better draft position. As for moving Frye, I can understand that. He isnt playing much and I think the Magic would LOVE to get rid of a contract that lasts another 2 years.
