The worst decision made was to air this on ESPN. Not only was he getting villified for that, but now it is X10 on him now that he "stabbed" Cleveland in the back by this. And Cleveland has mud on their face now, and LeBron is now looked at by alot of people as the a*****e.

The response would have been half of this, had his cohorts not talked him into doing this on live tv. That was the dumbest move of his career right there.

very true.

btw Dan Gilbert looks like an even bigger a*****e

he does.....cant blame him for being a true Cavs fan while he and all of Ohio just got s**tted on, on live tv. I would have expected this from Mark Cuban, lol....he shouldnt have done it though. He is just feeling how every Clevelandite (is that even right? or is it Clevelander?) feels.

LOL at all the butthurt lakers fans who know Kobe wont win another championship.

Seriously, why is this about Lakers fans? Is it because you people are still "butthurt" we're back-to-back reigning world champions?

BOOM goes the Dynamite!

Very true. And I don't think he has the slightest idea of what he just did to his public perception by doing that.

I wonder his strain is the same as Delonte's.

Gloria James is a nasty ass ho.

I read on a Cavs forum...."I hope Delonte gives Gloria HIV" LMAO!!!!

I remember hearing this exact comment when Shaq left. I mean, if the haters say this every year, eventually they're going to be right....right?

Keep the faith, haters! Math is on your side!
For all of you that are having a bad day just think you could be a Cleveland Cavaliers Fan..

It would have been so much easier to say Im coming back to Cleveland on National TV, and he would be the hero, and not the villan....because no other team had a vested interest other than the Cavs (lol and the Knicks)...BUT by doing what he did, he should have NEVER agreed to do this in the first place...it all comes back to what you had mentioned earlier Pete, it was how we and the media have built him up.

Whoever talked him into this (ESPN and his wanna be "business associates") all thought this would be awesome!!!!!! I think we the public knew how this was gonna turn out if he wasnt coming back....yet they didnt. Shame on them

It would have been an absolute PR coup if he had done the special and announced that he was staying in Cleveland. He would have looked like a hero.

That's why I kinda thought he'd stay in Cleveland. I thought, he couldn't be THAT stupid!

I still think he woulda looked like a penis. The reaction from everyone outside of Cleveland would have been...really!??!? All of that, and you're just gonna re-sign, which you coulda done two years ago?!?!
It is now up to Dwight Howard to become the dominant force we know he can become. He needs to drop the having fun, and look at me act, and get serious now. He has a three headed monster just south of him now.

I know I would have been disappointed no matter what he chose. If he stayed in Cleveland I would have been annoyed at him wasting my time. A one hour special, for THIS?! Cleveland would have LOVED it. The national media would harp on for weeks about Lebron-the-hometown-boy doing the right thing, trying to build his legacy.

But the way he did this, by publicly humiliating Cleveland, has left a horrible taste in my mouth.

Yep....I dont blame him for leaving....its just the way that he left, that has ruined his image. Does anyone really remember that the proceeds went to charity? No....its how he s**tted on his hometown team on live primetime tv.
