You think its Lincecum...I think its Wainwright..but since my opinion differs from you I'm a homer? Alright.

well see, several posts back, John showed undoubtedly why Lincecum was better this year, and you failed to respond as to why Wainwright should win over Lincecum, therefore, you are a huge homer for just saying the guy on your team will win.

EXACTLY! I gave support to why Lincecum should win the award. James only contribution was.."when do they give Wainwright the award". Yet he calls us homers. Pretty fricking hilarious.

Um. That wasn't my response. It was me joking around and simply asking a question about the NL Cy Young award and uber-defensive Giants fans run in here throwing millions of stats at me. I could care less about Lincecum's ERA at night when they mow the grass on a Wednesday of the third week of August on the day when he drove to AT&T Park stoned. I don't care. I simply was joking around and asking a question and I'm here getting attacked and called a 'homer' because I voice an opinion. I've tried going back to topic when stating how I don't think Greinke should have won as large as he did yet I'm still called a 'homer' and now have to listen to garbage about Jair Jurrjens.

#1 wins
Top 5 K's
Top 5 ERA
#1 IP
Least BB of any Cy Young Candidate
Lead the Cardinals to a NL Central Division Title

OK...
Lincecum LEAD K's - not just top 5
Lincecum 2nd ERA - not just top 5
Lincecum had much better whip so your BB total is meaningless

Wainwright did NOT lead the Cards to the Title. He helped. Pujols, Carpenter, and Holiday had a bit to do with that. Oh wait.. forgot Franklin. I wonder how many times he saved Wainwright. I know the Giants pen cost Timmy several times.

Why the face? youre argument is poor. What youve told me is that:

He is not the leader in any of the major categories for the CY except wins which is a rather misleading stat.

He only helped? When Carpenter was hurt and he was carrying this team while Pujols and the entire lineup was ice cold (why we went out and got Holliday/DeRosa) who do you think threw this team on his back? Wasn't Franklin. Wasn't Pujols. It was Wainwright.

Its really hard trying to talk baseball with people who only watch one team.
I have to go to work, enough w/ this nonsense.

Back to Greinke..

While I think he had a very good season and can be considered a strong candidate for this...the way the votes went was as if he was clear cut better then King Felix.

Says the Giants fan.

I'm gonna laugh my ass off when Wainwright gets the award.

Doesn't mean he deserves it.

And the award for biggest homer goes tooooooo... JRG and his StL Cardinals!

Felix had a great year and stats, but he was nowhere near as dominant as Greinke.

Wainwright will win and he would be deserving, but he would not be the most deserving of this award.

I already said that one of your Cards pitchers will probably win. I hope you get a good laugh. It might be as big as the laugh I had watching Holiday muff the ball in left field and the Cards being humiliated in the playoffs.

Oh come on man. Dont try to be logical when there is a Cardinal fan in the house.
You are exactly right by the way.
Congrats to Greinke. Hope he has just as good a year next year.
