Later he became an integral role player and great defender and with Dream next to him, formed one of the best defensive frontcourts of his era. Although he received less pub, he was a bigger, better version of Charles Oakley. He only made 1 ASG, but got 2 rings with the Houston Rockets.

6'10 250 PF - Otis Thorpe

nice

Very good pick.

Thanks, the guy never got any credit, but it's no coincedence that Hakeem had his best years once Otis came. Just a solid, quiet professional. Would have fit in well with the Spurs of the last decade.

He sure would have. Duncan would have a couple of more rings if he had a Thorpe next to him instead of the Oberto/Kurt Thomas/Matt Bonner combos he's had the last few years.

Luis Scola might have come in handy too.
I select Kermit Washington.

Mainly because I want him to smash Moist's player Rudy T in the face and leave him unconscious and spilling blood and spinal fluid on the court.

Tomjanovich would later recount that at the time of the incident, he believed a scoreboard fell on him.

And this is, if I'm not mistaken, the reason why the 'no leaving the bench during a fight' rule was adopted by the NBA.

No, it's the reason you don't fck with Kermit, MOTHERBIATCHES!!!!
I heard an interview once saying that Tomjanovich confronted Washington in the tunnel after the game, and someone intervened. At the time, Tomjanovich was literally leaking spinal fluid in his mouth, and doctors said that if he got in any sort of altercation where he was jarred in the slightest way, he would have ended up paralyzed or dead.

Nah, that happened after the Knicks/Heat brawl in the late 90's, IIRC.

Van Gundy FTW.

That is one of the two Van Gundy clips I've been looking for - the other, when the ref knocked him out.

That sh!t was awesome!! I remember watching that game and thinking "WTF is Van Gundy DOING?!?!"
That Knicks vs. Heat rivalry of the late-90's was epic. Tough to sit through, but always a riveting matchup, as those fools were so damn physical.
