I realize this is not a popular pick for the board. Heck, if I was starting a real team, this guy wouldn't be my pick here. However, after analyzing some of my picks on whatifsports, I realize I haven't been picking the best players for this competition. Whatifsports really likes Johnston's best season and values it better than any of my other picks' best seasons (sans Russell).

From a statistical standpoint, he was every bit as good as Bob Petit & Dolph Schayes...it's just that his career was shorter. From a whatifsports perspective, this might be the steal of the draft.

I thought about him a lot but figured one old timer (Mikan) was enough for my team. Still.... very solid pick here.

Him and Jack Twyman are the only players here that I'd never actually seen footage of before this draft. Or if I did, I wasn't aware it was them. It's great learning about these guys.

Yeah, they do. NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, NCAA Football, & NCAA Basketball.

NFL would be AWESOME, but you draft entire Offensive Lines, and entire Defenses instead of individual players. (i.e. 1994 SF 49ers O-Line)
