Van Lier is really nice pick. Great value @ this stage.

I was watching the ESPN Top 10 NBA shots of the decade. Didn't Fisher have a turnaround against the Spurs in the Playoffs with less than a second left? It wasn't on there if he did.

Never. Happened.

The end of that game unreal. Kobe hit a jumper to put the Lakers up by 1 with 10 seconds left, Duncan hit an INCREDIBLE shot to put the Spurs up by 1, and then Fish hit the famous 0.4 shot, which might be the most well-designed play Phil Jackson's ever drawn up. If that shot doesn't go in, Duncan's shot would be remembered as one of the great shots in playoff history, IMO. Watch how amazing this shot is.

Paul Silas

I wanted a defensive player off the bench and this guy fits the bill. He could play both forward spots and defend big men or wing players. A five time all defensive team member and top 10 rebounder in his prime. His best statistical season he put up 18 and 12. He was also a 2 time allstar and a 3 time NBA champion.

And if you don't like this pick? Ill "See You Next Tuesday"

I agree 100%. Van Lier was a solid all around player who was really a tough defender.

I'll take Bob Love and will be playing him at small forward.
Paul Silas was my mom's favorite player as a kid.

Thanks guys. Considering the PGs that have been picked, I couldn't beleive one so accomplished, at least defensively, was still available. I like the way my bench is shaping up.

Dont forget about Anthony Peeler

KG fears Peeler!

good s**t bro!

Peeler never got enough credit in Sac for that elbow to KG. Most people were just mad he got suspended for game 7.

I actually considered Norm when I chose Gus Williams. I thought Williams was slightly better but not by that much. It was very close in my mind. To get Van Lier in this round is a steal.

Nice, may I ask why? I never saw him play.

She grew up in Ohio, and he went to Creighton University. Her dad was a professor at Ohio State, but I guess the two teams played, and she liked how he hustled all of the time. So when he made it to the NBA, she rooted for him.

Funny enough, her mom is who taught me my first lessons about basketball. There are pictures of me in diapers playing ball on a nerf hoop with my mom's mom. She died when I was 5. Wish I woulda gotten to know her better.

Wouldn't that make her your grandma?

Gosh darnit. There's a guy out there who I really should have picked. I'm SHOCKED he hasn't been picked yet.

I wonder if we're thinking of the same guy.
