My friend asked me this question today so I thought I should share...
If the Cavs came up to the Lakers and said "We want Bynum and Artest for LeBron or Gasol and Artest for LeBron would you do it?"

The Cavs would never do that.
Considering that Lebron could walk and they could get nothing for him next year, they might just do it. Bringing in a franchise Center and complimentary piece in Artest, it's not that far off for them.

Miami. He's also switching to #6 because 23 is retired in Miami, so he can play with Wade.

I could definitely see him staying, but if he leaves, I say Miami. It's a cool place to be, and he has help in Wade. I think there is no way he goes to the Knicks. He would pretty much be exiling himself from the relevant basketball world.

Yeah, I agree on the Knicks angle. He's gonna be a superstar anywhere he goes, and the thing that would be best for him is being on a team that knows what they're doing.
If he goes to Miami though, it seems like it could hurt him in the "not able to lead a team to a championship" type of deal. LeBron's the better player, but that's Wade's team.
